Bart and Homer Simpson Are Catholic According to Vatican

Bart and Homer Simpson aren’t only hilarious, according to a recent proclamation from the Vatican, the Simpsons characters are also Catholic.

According to the L’Osservatore Romano “Few people know it, and he does everything he can to hide it, but it is true: Homer J Simpson is a Catholic.”

The L’Osservatore Romano is regarded as a semi-official publication for Vatican news and they offer several examples for why Homer is considered catholic, for example they state “recites prayers before meals and, in their own peculiar way, believes in the life thereafter.”

Actress Who Voices Bart Simpson Sued After Fiances Suicide

Nancy Cartwright - Voice of Bart SimpsonNancy Cartwright, the voice actress behind Bart Simpson is being sued because of a failed construction project by her fiances construction company. The project, which saw funds diverted to the Church of Scientology is said to have fallen through according to TMZ.

According to the suit, the American Safety Casualty Insurance Company says Cartwright’s fiance Stephen Brackett was hired to fix up a restaurant in 2008, work they covered as part of an insurance policy. That work was never completed and the ASCIC claims Cartwright agreed to cover any lost costs if the project when awry.
