You gotta love this woman! People have been calling her a cougar, maybe because of her new show “Cougar Town,” but rather than being all defensive about it, she goes and says that she “has been blazing this trail for the past 10 years.” Husband David Arquette is much younger than she is, and yeah, so what?

It’s refreshing to hear “Divorce is not an option” from celebrities these days. Courtney Cox and David Arquette could very well be among the few who are willing to do what it takes to make their marriage work despite the difficulties they may be facing. Here’s to a happy Christmas to this couple!

Is the best couple in Hollywood really on the rocks?  No, not Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt, silly!  I’m talking about longtime married couple Courteney Cox & David Arquette.  Life would cease to make sense if this couple decided to call it quits.

According to the gossipmill, Cox & Arquette have been having marital problems of late in their 7-year-long marriage.  An ever juicier tid bit is that 42-year-old Courteney has been getting more than a little cozy with “Dirt” costar Josh Stewart, which I refuse to believe on principle.  Have you seen Stewart.  Talk about gag-a-maggot!

But it looks like a rep for the couple is slamming these rumors & saying they are more than false.

“There is not a shred of truth to the rumors about the state of their marriage. They are happily married and like most married couples, they have some separate friendships and interests,” the rep revealed.

Well, if it’s anything like Reese Witherspoon’s rep, we won’t know there’s really a problem until an actual divorce paper is filed.  This past January 35-year-old Arquette revealed on Howard Stern’s Sirius radio show that he & Cox do at time see a therapist but that they still love each other very much.

“Yeah, we go to therapy once in a while,” Arquette revealed.

“Just stress from work. But I’m happy, don’t get me wrong, I love her.”

Here’s hoping the hottest couple in Hollywood stay just that.
