Poor Katie Holmes and Greg Kinnear, their biopic miniseries about the Kennedy family, titled The Kennedy’s has been turned down by most major TV networks and now they can add Showtime to that list.
The History Channel, originally slated to air the miniseries announced several days ago that they canceled plans to air the controversial retelling of the family, mostly focusing on JFK and Jackie O.
Last week History Channel execs said the series was “well shot” but was also not a “good fit” for their programming. The miniseries was then pitched and turned down by Starz and FX.
Showtime shooting down the series shouldn’t come as a surprise, in 2004 they ran a miniseries on the Reagans which was met with horrendous reviews and no doubt they wanted to avoid that same fate once again.

It’s a little too late to be looking for the golden egg, but Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise’s little girl Suri is still in the spirit of Easter.
The tot, who’s turning 4 this month, was spotted wearing bunny ears and matching bunny slippers as she and her mom were out for a walk around Union Square in New York City last Saturday.
Suri seemed to enjoy the attention she was getting as people admired her cute bunny gear. Katie was also enjoying the sunny weather as they went shopping around Manhattan. They were spotted visiting the ABC Carpet & Home Co. store. Does Tom need new summer fixtures?
Suri’s looking more like her pretty mom Katie these days. Remember those cute bangs she sported when she was a toddler?

The Easter celebrations wrapped up this weekend, and the stars took a break from their busy schedules for egg-hunting festivities.
Singer Katy Perry and her actor fiancé Russell Brand held an Easter Day party at their home in Los Feliz, California. She got into the spirit by wearing bunny ears and a yellow bikini. I love her tie-dye cover-up!
Gwen Stefani and her hubby Gavin Rossdale spent Easter in Malibu at an exclusive party. Their son Kingston (right) wore an Easter bunny shirt as he ran amok, while little Zuma was contented to be in mommy’s arms.
Look, it’s the Spidey family! Tobey Maguire and his wife Jennifer Meyer-Maguire took their kids Ruby Sweetheart and Otis to the same Malibu party.
Kourtney Kardashian took a break from her partying ways to spend the Sunday afternoon in Malibu beach with her baby Mason Dash Disick.
Katie Holmes and daughter Suri Cruise had a busy Sunday in New York. They watched the Easter Sunday performance of DanceBrazil at Joyce Theater, after which they had a nice lunch at City Bakery.
Stephanie Pratt is a do-gooder. She and other celebrities volunteered for the Los Angeles Easter Meal to the Homeless held at the Los Angeles Mission.

There are far too many celebrities out there who want to add the word “designer” to their resume, while there are too little celebrity designers who actually have what it takes to make a lasting impression.
Which side do you think Katie Holmes belongs to? The 31-year-old actress teamed up with stylist Jeanne Yang last year to come up with Holmes and Yang, a premium designer line for women and children.
Inspired by Katie’s daughter Suri and Jeanne’s kids Zoe and Sydney, Holmes and Yang was launched last fall exclusively at Maxfield in Los Angeles.
In this 2008 photo, Katie wears one of her own designs—a navy leather bodice halter dress.
“We just wanted to do comfortable clothes that you can wear going from a meeting to being a mom to going on a date,” Katie told Style.com. “Everything’s lined in silk, and we really spared no expense.”
It’s been months since they launched their collection, and I haven’t heard of significant positive nor negative reviews. Have you purchased anything from Holmes and Yang? Would you wear a Katie Holmes design?

Katie Holmes is one of those actresses whose sense of fashion gets better as they age. The 31-year-old was one of the celebrity guests at the opening of the very first Hermes Men’s Store in Madison Avenue, New York last Tuesday, and boy was she dressed for the occasion.
While it usually looks frumpy on vertically-challenged people, this look is great on the 5’9” actress. She’s must have gotten help from stylist and friend Jeanne Yang, who was also at the event. I love how Katie kept warm with her Hermes coat over wide-leg pants.

Katie Holmes‘ Broadway debut in the play All My Sons got mixed reviews from critics. The Daily News had a very good review for her portrayal of Ann but The New York Times had a harsher verdict, saying that she was not believable.
Either way, Katie got the support of hubby Tom Cruise as he was in the audience during the opening of the play.

Katie Holmes may be getting a Broadway role. Reports say that she’s in “final negotiations” for the lead role inAll My Sons, by Arthur Miller.
Supposedly she has already promised to participate in a workshop, but still hasn’t given a “set answer” to taking the role. It would be her first play since high school — and she’d have to be on stage six nights a week. What would her overprotective husband think of that?!

Enough with the sad Hollywood tales of drug overdoses and nervous breakdowns.
Let’s look at the glamorous and fun side of the celebrity scene — and no one does glamour better than these people. Madonna (remember when we thought she was a bad girl? she looks lke Mother Teresa compared to Britney) threw a star studded benefit for UNICEF, co-sponsored by Gucci. Next to here are the power couple Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, and Madonna’s now 11 year old daughter, Lourdes. Rosie O’Donnell’s there, too — though she won’t be touching the alcohol; she says she’s quit drinking.
