Joe Jonas Solo Album Isn’t The End Of Jonas Brothers

Joe Jonas is going the way of younger brother Nick and releasing a solo album of his own.

The Joe Bro announced his solo aspirations to E! Online on Monday, but has promised he isn’t ditching the Jonas Brothers.

The 21-year-old singer says he wants to show off a new “dangerous sound” with his solo effort that will be released sometime in early 2011. He says he’ll also ditch his trademark suit and tie for a T-Shirt and leather jacket.

Joe Jonas To Guest Star On 90210

Joe Jonas of the Disney based pop group Jonas Brothers will guest star in an episode of 90210.

According to EW Joe will play himself on the CW's hit teen drama. Joe will be escorting Adrianna to a magazine launch party in the episode.

The role isn't Joe's first foray onto the small screen, he recently landed a role on the hit sitcom Hot In Cleveland and he has been linked to a cameo as Young Tommy on the ABC family hit Brothers & Sisters although he never actually took part in the series.

You can look for the Joe to appear this November, probably during sweeps week, but the exact date is yet to be confirmed.

Joe Jonas Dating Ashley Greene?

Joe Jonas of the pop group Jonas Brothers is rumored to be dating Twilight hottie Ashley Greene, the couple were spotted together in London last week.

Reader beware, Joe has been rumored to be with everyone from Taylor Swift to Camilla Bell and Demi Lovato, however in this case they were spotted sneaking around The Ivy one of England's top exclusive restaurants.

Are the Jonas Brothers starting a new trend in red carpet fashion? Is a pair of designer sunglasses really the cool thing to wear at award shows these days?

Nah!

It was just too sunny that Saturday afternoon, so Kevin, Nick, and Joe had to cover up in their Rayban shades. They even took the stunners off (as they tried their best not to squint) for the photographers at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards.

I can feel the sales profits of Raybans increasing as I type in these words.

Since the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards caters to the younger market, you’re sure to spot a number of stylish and wardrobe-experimental dudes on the red carpet, or in this year’s case—the orange carpet.

(L-R) Musicians Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas, and Nick Jonas of The Jonas Brothers suited up in different designer labels. Kevin’s suit and shoes were by Black Fleece by Brooks Brothers; Joe wore a Hugo suit and Sperry Topsider shoes; while Nick opted for a D&G suit.

He’s only 11, but Will Smith’s son Jaden Smith is already stylin’ it in Hollywood. The Karate Kid actor posed with his co-star Jackie Chan.

It’s in the kicks, I’m tellin’ ya! Singer Justin Bieber spruces up what would have been another monochrome outfit with his neon green sneaks.

Joe’s Bros

It looks like a scene fresh out of Entourage. Joe Jonas was spotted with two of his buddies as they went shopping at The Grove in West Hollywood on March 11.

Nowhere in sight were his brothers Nick and Kevin, as well as Joe’s girlfriend, Demi Lovato. Demi finally admitted last week that she is indeed dating the 20-year-old member of the Jonas Brothers.

I’m surprised there wasn’t a mob of fans trying to get his photo or autograph. There were a lot of onlookers and other people trying to act cool while walking down his path.

Demi Lovato Confirms She’s Dating Joe Jonas

No surprise there. She was interview by Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush on his radio show The Billy Bush Show last week when she revealed the obvious.

“Umm, maybe,” she answered shyly when Billy asked if she’s ever dated a Jonas Brother.

“Which one? Joe?” asked Billy.

“Yeah,” Demi replied. “He’s actually… he’s my best friend.” Demi, 17, met Joe, 20, on the set of Disney Channel’s Camp Rock.

“So you guys went from boyfriend-girlfriend to best friends?” Billy asked during the radio interview.

“No kind of the opposite,” Demi answered.

“Oh? So you’re dating him now?”

“Umm, yeah he is my best friend and he is incredible.”

There you go—straight from the horse’s mouth.

Joe Jonas Channels Axl Rose

Fashion has a way of repeating itself. As history has shown us, certain trends are resurrected every few decades or so, while some fads go completely extinct.

Take Axl Rose of Guns N’ Roses, for example. This rockstar started the bandana craze in the late ’80s to early ’90s when grunge ruled the airwaves. The now 48-year-old tried updating the look for the millennium era, but people didn’t exactly bite.

In the ’90s it was hot…

…In 2002 it was kinda not.

Just when you think this look faded away, bandana-on-forehead is cool again, thanks to Joe Jonas. This Jonas brother was spotted at Silver Lake, California sporting an updated version of the Axl Rose look. This time, I feel that fad-crazy teens will bite.

But now that Joe Jonas is wearing it…

Joe Jonas Wants to Be Bond—James Bond

The middle Jonas has his eyes set on more serious acting, and his dream role is (drumroll, please) James Bond. “I’m willing to read for anything,” Joe said. “Acting is something I love and I want to do it all. It would be an awesome dream to get a part in a James Bond movie,” the 20-year-old shared. He’s also considering auditioning for the part of a villain.

Agent 007?

The Jonas Brothers are huge fans of Casino Royale actor Daniel Craig. “DC is the best and it would be an honor. It’s a prestigious film series,” Joe said. Sorry, Joe. A teen heartthrob you are; a dashing secret agent you’re not. The only Bond scene I can realistically see Joe doing is a comedy spoof for Disney.
