Celebrities may be good-looking, rich and can afford to buy and even do whatever they desire. But being only humans, they are also prone to making mistakes when not in front of the camera.
Just like the average youngster, these movie and TV stars basically share the same interests as those their age. The young ones often want to enjoy drinking alcoholic beverages, go out with friends, splurge on clothes and other personal items and may be tempted to try illegal drugs.
And so fans are taken by surprise when they see on TV or on the internet their favorite stars get arrested for minor offenses. Lucky for these celebrities as they can easily hire a Los Angeles criminal lawyer in case they get into trouble. With their huge income, they can afford to pay a legal counsel who can settle their cases in the soonest time possible.
So who among the young celebrities made it to the list of recent offenders? We share them here.
Justin Bieber’s display of troublesome behavior early this year was totally unexpected. Every fan, for sure, would have wished him to be a good boy and not follow the footsteps of those who have been in trouble in the past.
The 19-year-old singer was arrested in January for being involved in a drag race in Miami. Police charged him with drunken driving, resisting arrest and driving without a valid license. Other behaviors he was noted for recently were abandoning his pet monkey, urinating in a janitor’s bucket and vandalizing the walls of a hotel in Brazil.
Does fame and fortune have something to do with Bieber’s behavior? A clinical expert said the young singer is suffering and needs help. The problem can be attributed to an addiction to wealth and power which is typical of a narcissistic personality very common particularly among teens.
Amanda Bynes got arrested in September for driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol. She tried to stop for a red light but did so in the middle of the intersection.
When pulled over by police, she underwent several field sobriety tests which she apparently failed. Bynes was charged with misdemeanor but posted a bail of $15,000 for her temporary release.
Chris Pine, star of Star Trek and Jack Ryan, was caught by police in March. He was drunk driving in New Zealand where he was shooting his new film Z for Zachariah.
Reports have it that the actor was caught driving under the influence of alcohol after celebrating at a party with other cast members. He pleaded guilty to the charge.
Disney TV star Billy Unger of Lab Rats also got arrested in June for driving while intoxicated. The 18-year-old actor was speeding in Malibu the reason why he was pulled over by police.
He then underwent a breathalyzer test right there which he failed. Unger blew a .08 which was beyond the normal.
Hopefully, these celebrities will learn their lessons and will not cause trouble again. They’re supposed to be models on TV and the big screen that people should emulate and not be ashamed of.
