It’s official ! Kim Kardashian files for divorce

72! Yep, that’s the magic number. 72 days is all it boiled down to after all the hype and media circus we all got subjected to months before the actual wedding day of Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries. Barely two and a half months down the road of their big fat wedding, Kim has confirmed that she is indeed, filing for divorce. Whispers have been ringing around that Kim and Kris were having issues with money , career and having babies. Let alone changing Kim’s last name to Mrs. Humphries was also on the debate table in the midst of the engagement and wedding preparations. Being at the peak of her career , her growing retail business, and effortlessly just being one of the hottest chics that have ever graced the screens … any guy would pretty much have a hard time keeping up with this Kardashian. Kim is filing divorce under irreconcilable differences. Really??? Nawh.
You would think that after 10million dollars, 450 guests and three Vera Wang weddng gowns, the couple would have made sure they sat down and pondered on this whole shebang of married life. But nah, they were too busy having their moments filmed and cashed in on almost every angle.
However much a sad fact for any marriage to go down the drain , it’s even sadder that their love story …if there ever was any true love … all that should’ve mattered turned into glitter dust and reduced to a statistic written down in media history as one of those short lived celebrity marriages we all get to shake our gossiping heads about.
If there was any good thing to come out of this marriage, they sure both got a nice fat pay check from the word go of their engagement . Of course, all that doesn’t really matter, right? This is all about a real love story … but with a chunky price tag.

David and Victoria Beckham Await Their First Daughter Via C-Section

It looks like the color pink will be washing through the Beckham’s nursery as the Posh Spice Girl is expecting their first daughter. David and Victoria Beckham are indeed very excited for the arrival of their newest family member via C-section at a Los Angeles hospital anytime soon.
Months of preparation of have been done to welcome their little princess, as David expresses getting used to too much pink and lilac in the house. Their little posh pink spice bundle already has an entire wardrobe and baby boudoir waiting for her at this very moment.
The couple has gone through a lot of changes preparing for their new bundle of joy. Sources say that Victoria temporarily moved out of their marital bedroom to seek a bigger spacious refuge in her own bedroom suite. This isn’t too much girl power in the works here, as the lovely pregnant posh spice finds it difficult sleeping next to her soccer prince when she feels like a beached whale. She says she needs more space to stretch out! Judging by her very recent photos, the woman can still fit in a tight pair of skinny jeans and look smashing in them! What is she on about?
Days before her scheduled C-section, Victoria has been sharing her bedroom suite with a furry roomie … their new puppy French bulldog Scarlet to comfort her pregnant woes.
The 37 year old posh momma reveals her plans to breastfeed her daughter. This is a first for Victoria since she had her boys fed on formula. Having a daughter made her think twice about formula feeding, and decided to go all natural and perfectly different for their little girl.

Lady Gaga Faces Lawsuit on Japan Wristband Sales

Lady Gaga and her wristbands for Japan’s earthquake relief efforts seem to not have gone down the proper profit beneficiary channels . This has been the class action suit filed against the pop sensation and the other companies involved in the sales and marketing of the “ We Pray for Japan” wristbands.
The $5 white and red rubber bands, whose sales and profits were supposedly promised by the singer to benefit the victims of Japan’s earthquake, are now in question through allegations of Michigan legal network, 1800 LAWFIRM. The law firm is also pinning charges on account of “artificially inflated reports of total donations” as well as overcharging buyers on shipping costs.
This entire lawsuit comes in the wake of reports that federal racketeering and consumer protection laws were being broken through deceptive advertising as well as misappropriation of profits from the sales of the wristbands.
The 25 yr. old singer’s official website does show a significant number of comments from fans who have expressed their disappointment on the long delivery as well as shipping and handling costs of more than the price of the said wristbands. The lawsuit filed against the pop diva aims to shed light on any improprieties and ensure that the singer and her partnering companies appropriate the full donations to their promised beneficiaries.
Steffani Germonatta, or also known in pop music as Lady Gaga herself – graced the pages of Forbes magazine as the most powerful celebrity in the world. She is currently doing her “Born this Way” benefit concert tour in Japan. Sales from the rubber bracelets along with other marketing ventures have been reportedly donated to the earthquake victims totalling a whopping donation of $3 million.

George Clooney is Back in Bachelorsville

Looks like someone is back to the bachelor pad and all you ladies can start pinning your George Clooney posters in your room and onto your desktop. Yep,he’s back in the market!
In a joint statement, Clooney and Italian actress/model Elisabetta Canalis have announced that they have gone separate ways. Fairly enough, their two year relationship seemed all too well til it lasted. Being the jet-setters they are, their time was mostly spent together at Clooney’s Lake Como estate in Italy. Although they did not disclose the reasons for their split, their statement only reads, “ It’s very difficult and very personal and we hope everyone can respect our privacy.
In June, one oItalian magazine has the 32 yr old Canalis speaking of how she feels her fairytale is continuing. However, we all know how the notorious tight lipped Clooney has always said and reiterated that he would never marry again – and that is anyone including Elisabetta. Did I hear anyone say ouch?
We don’t know how this stands even though most of Canalis’ interviews has her beaming with happiness and expressed “ in the future I will be married.” No one knows what goes on in the mind of the very private George Clooney. In case you didn’t know, Clooney was once married to actress Talia Balsam from 1989 to 1993.
Marriage is a big leap for most of the stars who have been divorced. However jaded they have become at some point they may decide to change their mind to give it that one last try. And as most stories are in the world of celebrities, nothing is ever written in stone.

Crista Flanagan of Mad Men fame appears on this months cover of Playboy in nothing but a pair of panties and a necktie and it’s a very nice sight indeed.
Flanagan plays Lois Sadler on the show and she’s in the same pose made famous by Toni Lacy on the magazines 1960 cover. Take whiff of the new VS scent, just in time for Valentine’s Day. Their website describes it as “Wild at heart. A punk princess. Rock chick meets très chic in this rebellious riff on vivid plum, hypnotic violet and sensual vanilla, the latest addition to our glamorous Sexy Little Things fragrance collection.”
I would’ve thought they were describing a Gossip Girl character. Well, lo and behold! Actress Taylor Momsen, wearing a rock chick outfit, hosted the Love Rocks launch held at Victoria’s Secret Soho store just last night.
She showed off the perfume’s rock ‘n roll packaging: a bold red lacquer bottle adorned with tattoo-inspired graphics, and a removable black leatherette rosette that you can throw on as an accessory. I want one of those!

She is filming Jennifer’s Body, and says that “I feel much safer with girls, so I felt more comfortable kissing her in the movie than kissing any of the other people that I had to kiss.” She is referring to Amanda Seyfried, who didn’t seem to be as comfortable as Megan was.
