Taylor Swift is making her cartoon debut in the CGI-animated version of Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax, being produced by Universal Pictures.
Swift will voice the lead female role alongside actors Zac Efron and Danny Devito who will play the Lorax. Also voicing Zac’s grandmother is Betty White, because apparently she needs to be in every new project available.
If it’s been a while since you last read the book, it’s about a boy (Efron) who goes in search of ways to win the heart of a girl (Swift), but instead finds out about the mystical creature known as The Lorax.
In a statement released on Thursday Illumination Entertainment Founder Chris Meledandri said:

After three years together Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron have called it quits.
The pair met when they starred together in the hit Disney movie “High School Musical.”
The breakup appears to be moving along without any drama, a source close to the couple said “it’s nothing dramatic” adding “there’s no third party involved” while another source said “They were together for so long, it just ran it’s course.”
Both Zac and Hudgens are off filming their own movies at the moment, with Hudgens filming the sequel to Journey to the Center of the Earth titled Journey 2: The Mysterious Island and Efron filming “The Lucky One” in New Orleans.

Warner Bros. has a new lead for their upcoming heist movie Art of the Steal with Zac Efron taking on the role of a handsome conman.
Efron, 22, will play a conman who performs several elaborate heists, while leading a double life as a perfectly nice everyday citizen.
Warner Bros. execs told Variety on Thursday that Zac will also be producing the film under his production company called Ninjas Runnin’ Wild.
The movie will hit theaters in Summer 2011.

This post is for all you females out there. Zac Efron the High School Musical star who has grown into a box office heartthrob is gracing the cover of Details magazine for their September 2010 issue and he opens up about dating….the same girl for four years…yawn!
The magazine hits August 17th and while he’s been dating his High School Musical co-star Vanessa Hudgens for almost four years, he talks about how he fights the temptation to play the field.
“I rack my brain thinking, ‘Why am I not out there playing the field?’ But it’s not in my heart.”
You’ll have to pick up the magazine to discover more about Zac and his life.

Who said that awards shows should always be about women? Hollywood’s men have lately been stepping up at red carpet events, the most recent being last Sunday’s Oscars. See which guys wore the best bows and ties.
Robert Downey Jr. (with Susan Levin) in kicks!
Taylor Lautner in Dolce & Gabbana

…And it’s not because of Zac Efron, I swear! Oakley hosted the “Learn To Ride” charity surf event at Bondi Beach in Sydney last February 16th, and a number of celebrities took advantage of free surfing lessons.
I have a bout of amnesia because I don’t remember the names of the other celebrities in attendance other than Zac Efron. All I know is that I feel the extreme urge to buy a board and learn to surf.

Miley Cyrus says she thinks that Zac Efron is the hottest guy in the world. (That goes to show just how little her world is…) Anyway, Vanessa Hudgens might have to keep a closer watch on her guy as Miley says that she “really really likes him.”

Who doesn’t think the same way? Well, I guess countless teenage fans of his. But Zac says he loves his latest, Me and Orson Welles, and he didn’t have to check his watch once. Now that’s what I call owning your work!

Jessica Alba isn’t impressed by Zac Efron, the star of ‘High School Musical’.
She told Elle magazine that she ran into the heart throb at the Teen’s Choice Awards. “He looks like a child with a lot of makeup,” she said. News flash, Jessica: little ‘kid’ just became a millionaire, and (at 28 years old) Jessica can’t claim to have that much more movie experience than he does.
