Are you ready for another big dose of Captain Jack Sparrow? Pirates Of the Caribbean is just around the corner and during the Super Bowl on Sunday the first trailer for the movie was revealed.
Aired during the third quarter of the Super Bowl, the trailer shows Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruze among other actors as they forge forward without the likes of Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom.

Someone needs to find out what the execs at Disney are putting in the water for their teen stars, this week several racy picture of Demi Lovato with her friends surfaced on Twitter.
Lovato was already taking time off from her hit Disney show Sonny With A Chance when the picture surfaced.
While there is no nudity her friend pulls at her cleavage and looks at her breasts, not the best example Disney could be sending to their young viewers.

Variety is reporting that the shows producers will focus the show's plot on a So Random! a "show-within-a-show," but only as a contingency plan.
Season 3 of the show gets underway in January which still gives Lovato a little bit of time to get her act together.

Disney is preparing to release the cartoon version of Beauty And The Beast on DVD for the first time in 19 years, now they have also announced that the release will coincide with a re-release of the classic cartoon, this time in 3D.
Beauty And The Beast debuted in 1991 to rave reviews and huge box office numbers, it will be interesting to see how the movie does when it arrives in 3D form come August. Read the rest of this entry »

Director Joe Wright, known mostly for work on the movie Atonement is rumored to be working on a live-action version of the story made popular by the Disney cartoon The Little Mermaid.
According to several reports, The Little Mermaid will be adapted from the original Hans Christian Andersen fairtale from 1837, rather than Disney’s more “colorful” 1989 version. It’s also expected that Ariel will lose much of her “caucasian” color.

Celador, the production company behind the smash hit Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, was award $269.2 million in damages on Wednesday in a Los Angeles court.
Who Wants To Be A Millionaire was a huge hit for ABC (Disney owned) from 1999-2000 however Disney claimed the show was operating in the red and they used doctored documents to prove their point.
Since the show debuted various lawsuits have come forth claiming the studio lied about the shows profits and deception was blamed on almost all of those incidents.

John Travolta, Kelly Preston, and Ella Bleu took the stage as a family at Disney’s D23 Expo last week in a surprise appearance. It hasn’t been a year since their son Jett died in an accident, and the family has not appeared in public since then. Their new movie (all of them are in it) is titled “Old Dogs,” which John loves very much since his “baby is in it.”

For the fourth time. The new installment to the pirates franchise is titled “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides,” and Disney says it is due in 2011. This is not the only project that Depp is working on. He has Alice in Wonderland and Tonto (Lone Ranger).
