He might have been booted out of the contest, but Scott MacIntyre remains an interesting subject for us. He recently revealed that he has a disease that made his kidneys malfunction and that it brought him down for a while. A family friend stepped in and donated one of her kidneys, something that might very well have kept Scott alive to see this day. His story is really very inspiring and despite not being in the running for Idol anymore, I think that we shall see and hear more of him.
