Choosing new roommates can be a serious gamble. Whether they are your best friend or some random girl you met on Craigslist, you can never be sure if you are going to be living with the roommate of your dreams or trapped with a psycho by a lease that seems like it will never end. Watching reality TV we get to peak in on dozens of groups of housemates every single week. Which reality star would you want to be your next roommate? Here are some of our favorites:
Hulk Hogan (Hogan Knows Best, Micro Championship Wrestling) – Every good group of roommates needs a leader, and who better than the Hulkster himself. He’s a former world champion, a hard-nosed father and a leader of tiny men. Not only will he have your back, but you that know you can trust him. As long as you say your prayers and take your vitamins, that is.
J Woww (Jersey Shore) – If Hulk Hogan is the father figure of the group, J Woww can be the mom. She’s straight forward and no nonsense, but always ready to party. Best of all, she’s used to taking care of Snooki, so you know that she’s good to have around when you aren’t at your best.
Flavor Flav (Surreal Life, Strange Love, Flavor of Love) – Every good crew needs some street cred and as a founding member of one of the most important groups in rap history, Flav has street cred coming out of his ears. If you’re looking for a roommate who knows how to get a party started, look no further than Flavor Flav. Other benefits include never having to ask what time it is.
The Harlem Globe Trotters (The Amazing Race) – Not only are Flight Time and Big Easy are our favorite Amazing Race team, they would also make great roommates. Can you think of anything better than challenging the guys down the street to a basketball game and having two Harlem Globe Trotters to back you up? We can’t either.
Scott Disick (Keeping Up with The Kardashians) – In the wacky world of the Kardashians, Scott is the glue that keeps the group together. The highlight of almost every episode is the “Scott moment of clarity” where he accesses the situation and makes the statement that keeps everyone going. If you’re looking for a roommate who is cool under pressure, Scott is your guy.
Joan Rivers (The Celebrity Apprentice, Joan & Melissa) – Joan is one of the funniest people in the history of the world. Plus you know she’s always down for trip to a food truck or a late night swim. Every good home needs a grandmother and Joan just can’t be beat.
Lo Bosworth (Laguna Beach, The Hills) – Can you name a single thing that Lo has ever done, other than being LC’s on-again, off-again best friend? We can’t either. She’s quite, won’t bother you, and has a second home by the beach. What else could you ask for in a roommate?
