1. Maui, Hawaii
Everyone loves to visit Maui, including celebs like Jennifer Garner, Kate Hudson, Justin Bieber, Ben Affleck, Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift, Matt Bomer, and Cameron Diaz, who have all been spotted in the sunny beach town recently. As the favorite vacation spot of Elvis in the 1950’s, Maui has made a name for itself as a celebrity favorite.
2. New Orleans
Many stars, including Ellen Degeneres, were born in the city, but even more make it their vacation destination, including Brangelina and Sandra Bullock, who have vacation homes in the area.
3. Corpus Christi, TX
The attractive coastal city in south Texas is an extremely popular spot for its beaches, marinas, sea caves, and more, which is an opinion that many celebrities share. Larry King, Will Smith, Terrence Howard, Lil Wayne, and George Lucas have all been known to vacation on this beach. If you’re lucky, you might just see someone famous the next time you take a cruise around the Corpus Christi bay.
4. Tokyo
There are thousands of things to see in Tokyo, which is perhaps one of the reasons celebs love this destination so much. One of those sights includes Disneyland Tokyo, which is a favorite destination spot for stars such as Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Jessica Alba, and their families. You’re also more than likely to catch a glimpse of a star if you stay at the Park Hyatt or Ritz Carlton hotels.
5. Toronto
You may not have thought of this one, but Toronto has had a surprising amount of celebrity guests over the last few years, including “The Notebook” stars Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling. These famous visits can likely be attributed to the Toronto Film Festival, which occurs every September.
6. French Riviera
Places like the Cote d’Azur in the French Riviera are the perfect spots for the rich and famous to visit during the summer when the beach is calm and the weather is perfect. The small, French Riviera towns are excellent for private celebrity getaways. Ryan Seacrest, Namoi Watts and LIev Schreiber, Zac Efron, Elton John, Neil Patrick Harris, and Cristiano Ronaldo have all been spotted on the lush shores.
7. Punta de Mita, Mexico
This sleepy beachfront village in Mexico has been a popular destination ever since Lady Gaga traveled there in 2011. Since then, icons such as Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, Kirsten Dunst, and Mario Lopez have all journeyed to the Mexican beach for some rest and relaxation.
8. Saint Barthelemy, Caribbean
St. Barts has long been on celebrities’ top places to visit list. Everyone in Hollywood has been to the Caribbean village at least once, if not every summer. It’s one of the places you’re most likely to see a celebrity just while relaxing on the beach.
9. Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
This party-resort town in Mexico is gorgeous, relaxing, and filled with celebrities including Courtney Cox, George Clooney, Jennifer Aniston, and Gwyneth Paltrow, who are often looking for a fabulous weekend away from the Hollywood scene. Naya Rivera even tied the knot here last year.
10. Malibu
Some celebrities love to be seen as they enjoy their vacations, which makes Malibu a top vacation spot. It would be nearly impossible to list all of the celebrities who have vacationed here over the last few years, which makes it an excellent vacation town for celebrity sightings.
