Ryan Seacrest Not Happy with Angelina Jolie Golden Globes Brush-Off

Ryan Seacrest is not at all happy with Angelina Jolie after she gave him the brush-off at Monday’s Golden Globe Awards. Seacrest, who is E!’s red carpet man, tried to interview Jolie during the awards pre-show only to get snubbed.
Wednesday on Ryan’s KIIS-FM radio show in Los Angeles, the red carpet guru gave Angelina a little what what.
“I asked her four questions and she didn’t even answer me,” Seacrest reveals.
“I literally stood there and tried to ask a couple of questions. At one point I just kind of let the E! microphone sit in front of her for a second to see if she was going to acknowledge it, and she clearly wanted nothing to do with me or my question or my answer or any of it.”
As for Jolie’s other half, Brad Pitt, Ryan was more appreciative of his Q & A, saying, “Brad was fantastic.”
“I think doing good is fantastic,” Ryan said, praising Angelina for her charity work.
“ A lot of people are benefitting around the world from their doing of all of these nobles things. But smile.”
Word to the wise, Jolie. Word to the wise. At least smile, or at least acknowledge the person that is apparently trying to talk to you.

i think Angelina was totally inappropriate and rude. she knew what to expect at this awards show, she has been to enough of them. she acted like she coulnd’t be bothered with being there or being interviewed and i think she made an ass out of herself.

People are so amazingly harsh and critical. Her mother, that she is very close to, was dying. That alone would put any normal person into an undeniable and unescapable depressed state of mind. Knowing that single fact alone would make anything Ryan Seacrest had to ask her seem completely irrelevant, irritating, and phoney.

I do think that she should have not acted the way that she did. It is true that she does know what goes on at these events and if she was so upset that she couldn’t speak, maybe she should have not come.
BUT until you know how it feels to have your mother dying and there is nothing you can do about it, maybe you shouldn’t be so quick to judge her. Sometimes when you are so upset, even speaking about other things, can bring uncontrollable tears. I’m sure that is why she didn’t speak to him. It doesn’t excuse her behavior, but that sheds some light on maybe the reason she didn’t.

Gee, I dunno, maybe her mom was dying of cancer and she didn’t feel like answering questions right then because she was on the verge of losing it all.
Angelina knows how to work the red carpet and Seacrest should know enough to leave her alone if she seems distant.
Ryan comes across as a whiney little punk after this stunt.

It’s funny how most of the people who commented here are blaming Seacrest for Jolie’s behavior. Jolie was being rude, period. Who cares if her mother was dying? If she didn’t feel well enough to come to the award show, she shouldn’t have come. Whether her mother was dying or not that was no excuse for Jolie to do what she did. There’s no excuse to be rude.

Did no one acutally see the interview? She wasn’t rude, she answered the questions and just let Brad take the limelight seeing that it is his night. Ryan Seacrest only said all this stuff afterwards to get himself some press. Cause everyone knows that no one cares enough about him unless he latches on to an actual star.

I think that Angelina Jolie should have been polite. If it wasn’t for her fans, she wouldn’t be where she is today. Its Ryan Seacrests job to do interviews with these celebrities. She has no right to smug him. These movie stars think that they can get away with trashy behavior. Let them go out and earn a living like the rest of us do. Maybe she would act different if she didn’t have money to throw around. I never liked her. She is way over-rated. Maybe she should go live in one of the countries that she sponsors, because it sure isn’t America. Sorry, but their adulterous union is based on lies, nothing good will ever come from it.

I am sorry her mother was ill and dying but why then come at all? If she was so distraught that she had to ignore someone (even Seacrest)then don’t come. And why is she still snubbing her father Jon Voight? She says because his “affairs” and cheating on her mother caused their break up, so she still holds a grudge against him, but it’s OK for HER? She is upset at some stupid painting showing her as an Angel with children that hangs in a Wal Mart but sniffs “I’ve never shopped at a Wal-Mart in my life!”..MY must be great to have so much money but your fans who make sure you have so much shop at Wal Mart don’they? I do admire her for adopting children and giving such poor little people a chance but what is it for? Do you think SHE gets up in the middle of the night or even holds one other than for a phote op? God you’re stupid. Lets see if we can break down what you said:
1) She snubs her dad-so she has daddy issues. Lets face it, none of us really knows the full story, so we can’t comment on it. How can you possibly speak to her character based on your limited knowlegde.
2) no Wal-Mart shopping-Wal-mart has been reamed for its lack of fair business practices and its lack of humanitarian efforts concerning its workers and its merchnandise. These issues have been all over the news. You should look it up.
3) You don’t know how she mothers in private. Besides, nannies aren’t the worst thing in the world. What do you think daycare is, or for the matter any form of babysitting not done by the parents? I think that’s nannying.
4) Learn the law! She’s probably adopting alone b/c Viet-nam has a law against unmarried couples adopting. Only single persons and married couples are allowed to.
5) Ryan knows the game. He’s just being a whiney brat in a desperate cry for your maudlin sympathy. Congratulate him, he succeeded.

People are friggin’ ridiculous. Angelina Jolie FIRST OFF was NOT rude to Ryan in ANY way. I have seen the footage. The woman had a lot on her plate, she was there with her man, arm in tow…supporting Brad and she let Brad answer everything first as a gracious woman does. She in NO WAY rolled her eyes, stared blankly, sucked her teeth, gave a Brick-Wall…NOTHING. She simply wasn’t rude. Ryan Seacrest is a blatant liar to say she snubbed him, and he did it because he’s a gossiper and is all about self engrandisement.
It’s a sad day when a famous person can’t be a human being. It’s an even SADDER day when a talentless person of the media like Ryan Seacrest EXPECTS Angelina Jolie or ANY OTHER HUMAN BEING to give him ALL the attention he wants, just because he’s standing there with a microphone. Did anyone stop to think…hmmm…maybe Angelina had a lot on her plate that day. Maybe one of her beautiful kids caught a cold. Maybe she was tired from filming a movie, MAYBE she was distracted because her beautiful, wonderful mother Marcheline Bertrand was DYING OF CANCER. Hmmm…maybe that’s why she was a little mum. Though I feel for her while she is grieving, she certainly had no concern for the grief of her rival Jennifer Aniston when she began to have an inappropriate relationship with that other woman’s husband. I admire her work with the UN, but am appalled at her personal choices. So, I don’t feel too sorry for her feeling grieved. Now she knows what it’s like to have a tremendous loss of a loved one, but at least her loss does not involve betrayal and rejection as Ms. Aniston’s did.
