By now we all know that Harry Potter’s own Daniel Radcliffe dropped his drawers for his recent London play Equus about a boy who just loves his horses & I mean loves his horses.
The 17-year-old actor did a little shock & awe number on his fans when publicity pictures from the production were released. And now it’s your turn to make a statement of your own regarding the young star.

It seems like the people who speak out against it, kind of become ignorant in trying to uphold whatever “nude is crude” belief they obviously have. It is absoultely baffling to me, how so called mature adults, spread arond the idea that nudity is rude, its disgusting, and anything sexual is barbaric and wrong and all of it needs to be avoided…..that is until you turn 30 and your parents want bloody grandchildren to dote over and coddle. I think also, that the Americans who say , “he is just a little boy, hes too young,” need to, with all due respect ( as I am American born myself I only speak of the ignorant ones), pick up a book and read. The age of consent for anything sexual and nudity etc related is 16, not 18 like it is in America. Is it any wonder why none of the BRITISH tabloids arent going on about how “little 17 he is?” All they say, is the he is the guy who plays harry potter, and look at how much of a hunk he is in the images. I just wanted to settle that issue. Furthermore, the parents who are complaining and b***hing about how they expect an actor to uphold his apparent place as their 9 year old kids role model need to get over themself, and learn to be a role model to their kids their own damn selves. I also want to add,just to get the journalists and everyone elses heads out of the clouds, Dan does indeed have a very wide age group in terms of who his fans are. Unlike the American Disney channel or Nickelodeon stars, Dan actually has fans who are 10, 20 (myself), 30, 40, and other ages as well. So people need to stop printing (as is seen in many articles), that his fan base is either 9 year old boys or 12-14 year old girls, that couldn’t be farther from the truth. His most official websites webmistresses Jenna and Paige are around my age (24?) and in her 40’s respectively, and as was said, the fan base is anywhere in between those numbers and beyond. The nudity is required in the play, and the scenes leading up to the particular few nude scenes are really serious. It seems like people against Dan doing this play seem to believe that Dan is just trying to parade his hot body around and show he is a grown man. Guess what? The plays storyline is too intense and too powerful for him to just sign on to do it because people will get to see him sans clothes. I wish people would clue into the fact that he is doing this for himself. Not for you, or me, or anyone else. Dan doesnt owe us anything, and for people to be whiny about how he is loosing dignity by doing this play are wrong. It is the opposite, hes gaining dignity, because he has the guts to put himself out there,in the boldest way possible. And I for one of many Dan fans, find it a beautiful thing. I respect and actor who choses to ACT.

I am very dissappointed in Daniel Radcliffe. I am a huge fan of his but these pictures are very unsiutable for the young children to be seeing. Daniel Radcliffe was a role model to me; an idol. I mean, how could he do this. I remember when he sent a newsletter to me when I had recieved a signed autograph from him stating that he will be starring in that film and also saying that it was very adult. But I din’t think it would be this adult. I was looking foward to seeing it but I think I’ll have to think twice about that. And to his parents. How could they even allow their son to star in this?! But I have to say that Daniel Radcliffe is a wonderful actor and I truly respect him with any decision he chooses.

daniel seemed to be too typecasted as “harry potter” judging the reactions of fans worldwide. I cannot blame the fans, because he portrayed harry prety well. But i think his career doesn’t stop when the 7 part story ends.. so he should, by now, establish himself not only as a harry, but he should be able to do different roles, including mature ones. Its what actors do. We can’t forever be children you know.

I am as much a fan of Daniel Radcliffe and the entire Harry Potter genre as anyone, but you know I think it is a crying shame when a 17 year old boy is getting chastised for taking on a great role such as this to step outside the box of what he has been doing for the past 5 or 6 years. So many people are typecast and subject to parts and roles that they are only remembered for doing. I am proud of the lad for doing this and hope that he steps out on a limb more often and takes on the roles that prudish people will criticize him for for those will be the roles that will make him a star. I am so tired of the censored close minded whiny people of this world. Oh no my child saw a boob in the superbowl, wah my child saw someones butt. Stop crying. You know the human body is a natural thing and yes somethings in life should be kept from children and should not be seen but the human body in limitation should not be seen as vile or ugly or revolting or something that should be censored. Oh my god hell most parents bath with their kids and youre going to throw some hypocritical bs out that I can’t believe Daniel did this play. If youre going to stop being a fan because of this people or ridicule him for doing it then you’ll aren’t really fans to begin with and if more people in the United States weren’t such close minded individuals then they might be alot happier like the rest of the world. I think I have to agree that Daniel is growing up and as he does it is understandable his acting and the roles he choses will mature with him. It is not fair to bad mouth him because he has made a choice to show his body nude for a play. He would have thought over whether or not to take this role before he did it. Obviously he knows the consequences of his actions. Why should he put his life on hold because people he doesn’t even know might have a problem with his choices or actions. If you have a problem with his movies or plays or anything then you to have a choice. You can choose not to watch it. You can tell your children that they cant see it. They have ratings systems for a reason. He can not stay a child forever. Why should he. He needs to live his life for himself. Its not fair on him. If anyone saw him on YouTube singing autographs as he left the theatre you would not be in any doubt that this is one mature guy.
There is nowhere for him to go professionally with Harry Potter so what was he to do – he has managed to show that his acting talents are far greater than the HP character – which a lot of child stars never manage to do – Congratulations to him – and look forward to seeing his next major film role.

I saw Equus three times in London in April and the nudity was an essential part of the production. The play is a look into the mind of a sexually confused and disturbed young man and is not intended to be a peep show. Daniel did an amazing job of convincing the audience that he was Alan Strang and all thoughts of Harry Potter were quickly forgotten as the play progressed. I had an opportunity to meet Daniel after the show and was impressed with his maturity and concern for his fans. Very well done. Anyone who has not seen the play and the context in which the nudity was performed should not judge it – it was warranted and skillfully performed. Bravo.

Daniel Radcliffe is a gorgeous young man who is becoming an adult. He’s growing up and can’t be expected to stay a child forever. If he wants to show his body thats his choice. He’s mature enough to make that decision. Besides, he had jeans on when the photos were taken so he’s more covered than if he were at the beach. I wish people would stop being so judgmental. He’s a great actor and gorgeous guy, let him make his own decisions without all the criticism.

harry potter is so freakin hot! the play with horses was a good choice but a bad choice too. i have to wonder where the heck was his AGENT? why didnt the STUDIO tell him until the harry potter series & his contract was over, then he could choose any type of contraversial work! its just funny that the people u work with, AND PAY dont tell u when they think this is a bad idea! this play IS a shock BUT i do give kudos to daniel for trying something vvveeerrryy different and risky! and at least i got to see naked pictures of his hot a** body! i will love harry potter forever no matter what kind of weird stuff he does! i just hope he gets better people to surround him and really look out for him. he needs people that will represent him to his full potential, and keep in mind his best intrest for his image and career…love ya harry! keep up the good work!

He was like 9 or 10 when he started harry potter. 9 or 10 people, do you think he thought ahead to the world fame? probobly not.
