According to People (& Perez Hilton, I might add), ‘N Sync Lance Bass & former Air Force captain boyfriend hottie Reichen Lehmkuhl have thrown in the rainbow towel, they have broken-up, they have called it quits, they have split.  And it was all going so well I thought….

Cindy Owen, Lance’s publicist, is confirming the break-up with a statement, “They have broken up.”

Sadly, news of the split came as some surprise to Reichen who was somehow unaware of Bass’ statement.  Oops.  Apparently the break-up was mutual (yeah, right), but it looks like Lancey boy was the one who really instigated the move.
