jessica-simpson-john-mayer-ugly-11-27-2006.jpgDespite the never ending rumors, Jessica Simpson & uglypants John Mayer did NOT spend the Thanksgiving holidays together.  The two were spotted together at LAX on their separate ways out of town, but did not do the turkey day dance together. 

Mayer’s rep kind of laughed off the rumors that Simpson & Mayer would be secretly meeting in Texas for a Thanksgiving hoedown, saying, “A press release was issued several weeks ago stating that after his appearance on the American Music Awards on Tuesday, November 21,  John would be flying to New York for his third consecutive Thanksgiving performance on The Late Show with David Letterman.”

“This has become one of Mayer’s favorite new holiday traditions. He has been on the phone with Paul [Shaffer] collaborating on the arrangement since he was in Japan several weeks ago on tour and will be performing a song from his platinum-selling album Continuum that he has not performed on any other TV appearance to date. Mayer will then spend Thanksgiving with his family in Connecticut following the appearance.” 

I think what John’s rep was really saying was, “So there.  Ha!”  Don’t you?

Jess & John were recently spotted at the Paradise Cove Beach Café in Malibu, so we’ve got our keen eagle eyes on these tow lovebirds!  So, really!  What is up with this picture of John Mayer?  He looks terribly hideous.  Oucharoo, that mug should never be on the cover of a record without lots & lots & lots of makeup & concealer!
