David Cook wowed the judges (yes, even the ever-cynical Simon Cowell) with his version of Mariah Carey’s “Always Be My Baby.” Though not as good as his performance of Billie Jean it got him a standing ovation.

But that wasn’t the only reason the American Idol contestant got teary-eyed. His brother, Adam — who is suffering from brain cancer — was right there watching in the front row. The two embraced each other, with the judges coming over to join the group hug.
