Here’s the best rumor we’ve heard yet about Lady Gaga, apparently a woman is claiming that her late daughters soul has possessed Gaga, allowing her to take the music industry by storm. It turns out the woman’s daughter was also a musician.
Yana Morgana has asked for the right to release dozens of songs that Gaga recorded with her daughter before she committed suicide in 2008 at the age of 19. She says her daughter Liina Morgana inspired Gaga’s fashion sense and persona from her wigs, boots and even as PopEater puts it her “tortured persona.”
“Every other word she says is from Lina,” Morgana told the New York Post. “She talks about having a dark and tragic life, but she had everything she wanted in the world.”
Gaga exploded onto the music scene one month after her daughter died and Lina’s ex-boyfriend Tyler Schwab says of the similarities:
“It was the same style, the same look, the same music, the same voice, the same jaw line — the way they expressed themselves,” adding “And I was like, ‘Is that Lina?’ It was so, so shocking. It was like looking at a ghost.”
Morgana says she won’t sue, but wants the music released so Gaga can let go of her daughter’s soul. This is definitely a little bit of crazy mixed in with some basic music rights. Strange…
