As a breast cancer survivor herself, Sheryl Crowe knows the importance of early detection and now she’s teamed up with the Pink Lotus Breast Center in Los Angeles to spread that message.
Pink Lotus was founded by Crowe’s surgeon Dr. Kristi Funk and the new section of the center is known as the Sheryl Crow Imaging Center. According to PopCrunch the center is a new state-of-the-art breast imaging center to help women detect and prevent breast cancer.
The center will offer mammograms, clinical breast exams, genetic testing, diagnostic biopsies, radiation treatment, Chinese medicine and nutritional help among other rudimentary and advanced options.
