Prince, Paris and Blanket honored the late singer’s birthday at his childhood hometown in Gary, Indiana.
They were accompanied by their aunt La Toya, grandma Katherine Jackson and their newly-appointed co-legal guardian, cousin TJ Jackson.
Paris shared a tweet to mark the King of Pop’s special day:
‘Happy birthday daddy. I love you with all my heart, always and forever<33.’
At 2300 Jackson Street, local townsfolk held a candlelight tribute for the music legend.
While in Indiana, the Jackson kids also decided to have some fun at Six Flags.
Katherine Jackson gave birth to her son Michael Joseph Jackson on August 29, 1958 in Gary, Indiana. From their modest Midwest beginnings, the Jackson siblings rose to fame despite the odds, but it was Michael Jackson who went onto greater musical success as a much-loved solo performer.
The king of Pop, Michael Jackson died on June 25, 2009 just days away from his massive comeback concert. His cause of death was ruled to be a case of acute Propofol intoxication. His physician Dr. Conrad Murray is now serving time for the music icon’s involuntary manslaughter.
