William Morris Endeavor Entertainment, the agency responsible for representing Mel Gibson has dropped the racist actor from their portfolio.
It was announced earlier this week by Patrick Whitesell that his agencies workers will no longer work with the troubled actor.
The move comes just after Gibson’s longtime friend and agent Ed Limato died on July 3rd.
The move shouldn’t come as a surprise with company partner Ari Emanuel speaking in public about his disgust with Gibson’s anti-Semitic remarks. Throw in racism against blacks in recent alleged recordings and they had good reason to remove their agencies association with Gibson.
As expected, the agency told Yahoo! Movies that the only reason Gibson was kept on board was because:
“Mel was really important to Ed,” and “He was with him for 32 years and I think Ed saw him as a son.” that same inside agent then added “The world knows how Ari feels and he has never changed that opinion.”
Good riddance, hopefully Gibson has to rely on his own cash to continue making his crappy movies….this guy is toxic and has killed too many demographics to draw a crowd to his movies.
