What was once TV’s most cherished family of 19 is now in the midst of a nasty scandal.
“Twelve years ago, as a young teenager, I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret,” Josh Duggar, now 27, says to People.
The ‘act’ referred to is his molestation of younger sisters Jill and Jessa, where daddy Jim Bob says that he “was just curious about girls and he had gone in and touched them over their clothes while they were sleeping.”
“Every family has things happen in the family and some families may have darker things than others…I know that every one of us have done things wrong, that’s why Jesus came. This is more about, there’s an agenda and there’s people purposing to bring things out and twist them to hurt and slander,” mom Michelle adds.
As of press time, TLC has already taken their reality show off the airwaves.
