Casey Abrams was shaking and had to sit down after he was eliminates on Thursday night from reality TV show American Idol and then told half way through his “last chance” song that he was safe.
For the first time on American Idol the panel of three judges stopped a contestant mid-song to tell them they were safe, calling Abrams dismissal from the show a huge mistake that should never have happened.
The night before Abrams sang Marvin Gaye’s “Heart It Through The Grapevine” and was even considered a show frontrunner until that point.
Also in the bottom three, Thia Megia and Stefano Langone.
During his last chance song Abrams was immediately stopped by Randy Jackson who said:
“Stop! Stop! Yo, listen,” and “We know who you are, Casey. We don’t need to hear you sing any more, do we Steven?”
“This is crazy wrong,” Steven Tyler chimed in. “We made a decision here to keep you on.”
Followed by Lopez who said. “We just want you to get back to being the musician you are.”
Here’s a video of Abram’s being kicked off the show by voters and then saved by the shows judges:
If anyone deserves to be sent home it’s Naima Adedapo, who in all honestly has sung off pitch during everyone of her performances and even proved this week that she can’t dance worth a darn.
Who do you think should have been sent home based on this weeks performances.
