Christmas is barely a breath away and we find some of Hollywood’s lovey doves heading out to for a hitch or goin’ down the trail to splitsville this year. Certainly not the cheeriest of news to know of broken engagements and some messy divorce issues, but reality does get in the way of all the glitz and glamour of celebrity life.

The most romantic of transgender proposals took place when Chaz popped the question to Jennifer Elia on top of the Space Needle in Seattle, while on reel of a documentary about his life last month. With a much publicised gender transformation back in 2008, the celebrity child of Cher and Sonny Bono, became a complete man in 2010.

After finding her true identity under the knife, Chaz Bono was dating  Jennifer Elia  for the past 6 years. Seeing his stint through Dancing With The Stars, Chaz’s participation became a wee bit controversial for some, but the 42 year old transgender smoothly made it through the rounds and did a solid performance to the last step.  Sadly enough, weeks after his  last dance on the show, Chaz called off the engagement.

No specific reason was spoken for their break up, but Chaz has clearly made it public and expressed appreciation for the concern and understanding of his fans and followers.

Turning 49 yrs old may yet be a milestone for Demi Moore who has managed to shed even more weight now tips at 98 pounds before her birthday. 98 pounds – my, with the way she looks in her recent photos, she's  probably a mere 80 pounds. Half of which comes from her hair.
After alleged rumours of husband Ashton Kutcher’s affair with 23 yr old Sara Leal , word spread like crazy bush fire of an impending divorce. However, the couple remained on a steady course of working out their issues and moving on with their normal life.
Noticeable though, is Demi’s rather alarming rate of weight loss. Understandable that she may be going through a rough time and stressing out over marital issues. But could it be that she’s trying to lose the weight to kind of keep up with the body of a possible 23 year old mistress?

Either way, her rapid loss of weight is almost too painful to look at now as her husband might not have enough to hold on to. Recalling how he managed to pull through his ordeal, the 37 yr old soccer player basked in the love and support of long time girlfriend Jenna Morasca. She was his rock. The man is battle ready . However though, marriage is something he says he isn’t quite ready for and surely has not heard wedding bells ringing at this time.

20 year old Mariah Yeater, recounts her  quick brush  with  the pop star, in October 2010. This allegedly happened  after his performance at the Staples Center in LA. She claims Bieber’s bodyguards gave her a full backstage invite  after the concert to meet the singer along with other women. Yeater  vividly remembers  how it all progressed from mutual attraction, to chemistry kissing… and then to heavy petting that eventually led them to a nearby bathroom .  She said she asked him to wear a condom but the bubblegum pop star  refused as he confessed that it was his first time  and wanted to feel everything!

What a beautiful memory it must be for Mariah Yeater to recall her momentous 30 second liason with a 16 year old singing sensation in a backstage lavatory.  Too beautiful to pass up and not keep a lifetime remembrance, eh?

Beiber strongly denies he is the father of the child, but Yeater’s lawyers also claims that the singer did not deny having unprotected sex with her after  his concert. You would wonder if  this boy  ever got a crash course on pop star sex 101. Condoms, young man! It saves you a lot of drama in the end. Oh, wait..  no need for condoms because he totally dissed on the idea of casual intercourse at one of his concerts.

Justin Bieber’s camp assures they will vigorously pursue all legal remedies to defend the singer and hope on the fact that Yeater, being 19 at the time of the incident and Bieber, 16 – would find herself possibly prosecuted for statutory rape of a minor.

Apparently, Miss Yeater is requesting the court to subject BIeber to take a paternity test and if results are undeniably positive, she merely wants the father to provide adequate support  for his son who was born on July 6.

Court date is scheduled for December 15.  This sure  sounds like a defo job for Maury Povich!

After the movie Blade: Trinity Ryan Reynolds’ six pack was the talk of the town. Totally stole the show!

Glamour magazine named Jennifer Lopez its 2011 Woman of the Year. We’re not exactly sure why. While she certainly looks hot on their magazine cover, we wonder exactly what singles her out among all the celebrities who can rock a red bustier.

Frankly Jennifer seems to be fumbling a lot, on a personal level. Her marriage fell apart, she’s dating again (but claims she’s not) and she’s got that American Idol stint… but so what? It’s not like’s found the cure for breast cancer or donated all her earnings to feed starving children around the world.

But maybe women can relate to that? Especially when she sounds so gosh-darn sincere and real. Like when asked about her love life, she flutters her eyelashes and says: “I think to give something a chance, to really get to know somebody, you want to do it out of the public eye. You know the media—they want to rush everything.”

So it’s a good quote, and basically means “back off and let me live my life” but it’s not exactly Buddha’s Eightfold Path to Enlightment.

But she did dish out the Great Truth on Where to Shop, or “insert-plug-for-the-new-fashion-line: “The things I liked when I was, like, 16 and in the Bronx—jeans, cut-up T-shirts—I still like. But I’ve been exposed to so much now from traveling the world and seeing couture clothes. I used all of that when I created my new line for Kohl’s. My style has come from everything, from where I started to where I am today.”

That’s, like, so profound.

Since her body was found in July 27, people have been speculating whether Amy’s sudden and shocking demise was a result of suicide, accidental drug overdose, or drug withdrawal. Now they really know what killed her.

This week the coroner disclosed that the cause of death was alcohol poisoning. Though Amy had stayed away from drinking for some time, she fell off the wagon and in a big and fatal way. She finished off three bottles of vodka! Autopsy results showed that she had more than 5 fimes the legal amount of alcohol in her system. “That inhibits what’s called the respiratory center, which is the area in the brain that controls [breathing]. When that is inhibited, people cannot breathe, period. That’s what causes their death,” the coroner explained.

Sadly Amy Winehouse was trying really hard to get her life back on track. She didn’t have any drugs in her system, and her vital organs were functioning well. But she couldn’t stay away from alcohol, and that “one little drink” was enough to make her stop breathing and trigger a coma. Such a sad, sad waste of brilliant talent. We’ll miss that voice, that beehive hair… RIP Amy.

Hollywood giveth, and Hollywood taketh away.

Christ Tucker, best known as the sidekick in the movie “Rush Hour” joins the ranks of has-beens and once-hads. He’s about to lose his six million dollar mansion (located in Florida’s super-posh Bella Collina community) because he can’t afford to pay the mortgage.

He owes nearly four and a half million on the sprawling home, which has five bedrooms, a pool, a personal spa, and a kitchen that overlooks the pool. And, FYI, it’s right by Lake Apopka. Sounds dreamy, and yeah—he did actually spot it when it was featured in a “Street of Dreams” event.

Ah, but all dreams come to an end.

Especially when the IRS is involved.

See, it’s easier to dodge the movie bad guys than to hide from Uncle Sam. The IRS secured an $11.5 million lien on the home in order to collect on taxes.

An unlikely ending for a guy who used to earn $20 million a movie, and had four projects going on at a time. Now…well, Chris Tucker’s star is all tuckered out.

So with his career on the downswing, and no home to call his own, Chris Tucker is another cautionary tale: don’t buy a big-ass house if you can’t afford it, and for God’s sake, pay your taxes.

Sounds like a scene from a Hollywood movie: police rush into a warehouse, seizing boxes of weapons, and saving innocent citizens from death and dismemberment (cut to high-speed chase, loud sirens, and a slow-mo of the bad guys escorted to the car).
But it’s not a movie—not yet, at least. This all happened on the set of the zombie movie World War Z. Hungarian police swooped down and took away more than 80 automatic weapons, including some bad-ass AK-47s and sniper rifles.

Why? Become some idiot in procurement got guns that had live ammo. “They were not as fully inoperable as they were supposed to be,” said Hungarian authorities.

Which would’ve made it really difficult to do a take two, don’t you think?

So the cops have saved the day, and Brad Pitt is safe and sound, with every strand of his long, sometimes greasy-looking, but nevertheless sexy hair intact. Millions of women around the world are breathing a sigh of relief. Oh, and Angelina Jolie, too. Let’s not forget her.

Moral of the story: don’t put live bullets in big guns. But then any idiot would’ve known that. What are they teaching these Hollywood interns now, anyway?

Lauren Conrad may be very quiet on rumors that she’s dating Derek Hough, but… actions speak louder than words.

Just hours after she told press that she was happily, blissfully, and gloriously single, she was seen at a Hollywood hotel, hanging on (guess who?) Derek!

But Lauren still says that she’s still single, “and just having fun”—and apparently, she’s taking fun very, very seriously. She was seen partying with girlfriend Jamie-Lynn Sigler at the third annual Haunted Hayride kickoff event held at Griffith Park, and hours later, hanging out at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel with another group of friends. And guess who joined them? Derek Hough, with fellow Dancing with the Stars friend Mark Ballas.

The couple-that’s-not-a-couple went off on their own, holding hands, before riding off on a white pony into the sunset (okay, it was a white Mercedes, but you get the drift).

One of their friends shared our sentiments and said, “They are so cute together.”

Well, Lauren and Derek can go and have their fun together. Wink, wink. Nudge, nudge.

Ooh, Rihanna, you really know how to have fun don’t you… The sexy singer stays true to her wild child image, taking off her clothes (and get this) does it in front of a video camera.

Sounds like a celebrity sex tape scandal, and we wish it were true. But it’s almost the next best thing. It’s for a commercial for Emporio Armani and Armani Jeans. The clip has the “Disturbia” songstress lounging in the back of a chauffeured car. Suddenly a man arrives and drops off a duffel bag. Her bodyguard brings it to her (note to self: quit boring office job and sign up as part of personal security) and she starts taking her clothes off, one item at a time. Go Rihanna, go Rihanna, go Rihanna!

Yeah, we know where it’s going: she puts on Armani jeans and a black leather jacket, and cruises off to some sexy adventure. Ah, well. We only wish we were in the limo with her—to assist with any difficult buttons and straps, of course. We’re very helpful that way.

Robert Pattinson named world’s sexiest man…again
No surprise here: Robert Pattinson of Twilight fame topped Glamour Magazine’s poll for the 50 Sexiest Men in the World. (Other names in the top five: Johnny Depp, David Beckhan, Zac Efron, and Twilight co-star Taylor Lautner.)

Why, why, why?

Robert Pattison seems like a great guy, but we know that he and Taylor Lautner only got in because of their roles in the Twilight saga. And, FYI, their characters like to drink blood and tend to howl at the moon. And sometimes glitter like Christmas balls under the sun.

At least Johnny Depp’s character (though grungy and with bad teeth) was a swashbuckling hero who could cut through a crowd of enemies with an expert swing of the blade. That takes skill, you know? And David Beckham plays soccer, and Zac Efron sang and danced his way to people’s hearts via High School Musical.
What does Twilight character Edward do? Brood? But ah, we forget, he broods in a sexy and soul-searching way. Because we all know that what women really want are “intense” men, even if they aren’t technically human, and quite possibly have commitment issues, and still live with their family after 500 years.

Kirsten Stewart, best known as Bella of the Twilight series, struts her stuff in a black bikini for the November cover of GQ, UK edition.

Funnily enough, Kirsten used to be a tomboy when she was younger. Didn’t really like dressing up, and (she reveals in the GQ interview) “looked like a boy for a long time.”

Guess she’s making up for lost time. The actress is hot, hot, HOT—even when she’s not half-naked. The out takes from the photo shoot show her with eyes smoldering with sex appeal. As photographers say, she’s “making love to the camera.”

These photos almost make us forgive Kirsten for being in such a bad movie, based on a bad book, with a bad character. And not even the “good” kind of “bad,” or the “bad” that is so “bad” that it’s almost good. No, just plain horrible and annoying, like nails dragging across the chalk board.

But if you’re this sexy, baby, you can be in a mime show and we’d still love you.

Thankfully the Twilight movie series is almost over, and Kirsten is already working on her next movie, “On the Road.” We wonder if it has any bikini scenes.

Talk about covering your assets. Holly Madison confirmed rumors that she had her breasts insured by Lloyd’s of London for a $1,000,000.

“I’ve heard about people getting body parts insured and I thought, why not?” she said. “Because if anything happened to my boobs, I’d be out for a few months and I’d probably be out a million dollars.”

Makes sense since her boobs are pretty much the only thing going for this reality star, especially since she dumped her megazillionaire fiancé Hugh Hefner. You don’t actually think she’s got (gasp) talent, right? And she could possibly be the first woman on the planet whose cup size is actually larger than her IQ.

Just some burning questions…
1. Did the insurance company have to conduct an insurance inspection? And who was the lucky guy who got to do that?
2. Exactly what kind of “boob accidents” does a typical insurance policy cover?

Wander into any bar, any pub and you will likely see a pool table sitting in the corner, laughs being shared and bets being wagered. But away from the heady light of pool stardom on the international stage, and the dingy pub setting with stained baize and poor lighting, there is a world of celebrity surrounding the game of pool, one which stretches far back in to the annals of the game’s history.

We all know the famous pool movies, The Hustler and the Colour of Money, which helped to bring the beautiful game into the public eye, largely thanks to the sadly departed Paul Newman. He is the tie between the two movies, the archetypal epitome of cool, but Newman’s love of the game went beyond on-screen set ups and special effects, he actually was a keen pool player.

Newman actually got lessons from Willie Mosconi (yes, the name given to the Mosconi Cup which pits the US against Europe) and current Hollywood giant Tom Cruise, who stared alongside Newman in the Colour of Money, is also a pretty adept player. Not many people may know this, but Mr Katie Holmes is ambidextrous, and while there were obvious continuity errors in the movie (not to mention a huge fashion faux-pas with his adopted hairstyle), Cruise is apparently a pretty dab hand at the sport.

You can scour Hollywood for pictures of famous stars shooting pool, from Brad Pitt, to Nicolas Cage, to Julia Roberts, to John Wayne and Keith Richards (which surely would have been a treat to experience). One of the most famed and revered of all celebrity pool players, was Jerry Orbach of Law and Order fame. There are many tales about his pool and billiards playing, taking money off players in challenges, including an encounter where he beat famed player Cornbread Red without knowing it.

Actor and director Woody Allen is also purportedly a massive fan and player of the game of billiards too. You can just picture him bustling around the table, while Bob Dylan’s sitting in the corner of the room, whistling a tune, as the songster is reportedly a fan of the game as well. The list really does just go on and on, with American Fear Factor presenter Joe Rogan being an avid participant of the game. That image just fits, it really does and it doesn’t even take sheep’s eyeballs to make it work. Just Rogan, a beer, a cigar and a pool table. The list goes on, and some even suspect that the late, great Vincent Van Gogh may have even been partial to a game, but there is no record of it. The rumours are abound because he painted The Night Café, capturing the game in its raw, unadulterated form, a pool table sitting in a dingy bar.

So popular is the game of Pool, that not even the White House can escape its addictive clutches, highlighted in a famous picture involving current incumbent Barack Obama. There is actually a Billiard Room in the White House, which was put there by James Monroe (who was the fifth President of the United States for those counting). So, even the vastness of Pennsylvania Avenue’s most famous address is not without it’s pool hall charm.

There is a certain sense of a President being just a regular Joe as he lines up the nine ball into the corner pocket, brow sweating, heart palpating, all budget problems falling by the wayside. Pool, the great political humbler.

Taking a step further back into history, John Adams, who was the President before Monroe, was so desperate to have a game of billiards that he would be seen knocking his balls around on the floor, just to get some action in. That is the power of pool and billiards, long steeped in history, from Presidents to Hollywood, the click of the ball, the rattling of the pockets is just too irresistible to pass up. Recreational or competitive the allure of game is just hard to deny. The sport in one fashion or another has been around since the 1600’s and long will it remain.

Meanwhile, Ariel Winter looked twice her age (and 20 pounds heavier) in a pink lace dress.  The cleavage also seemed inappropriate for a young girl, even if she is from a “Modern Family.”

So back to James Bond’s unbelievably macho make-believe world, you’ll notice that the typical James Bond formula – is good looks, guns and girls. The actors who play Bond doesn’t only need to be English, he has to have dashing good looks (as if spies really are all good-looking) for how else can he battle villains while still looking like a perfume model (an absolute requirement) AND then bed the girls who pepper all of the Bond films. And the Bond girls are there just for two main purposes – to be ogled by the male moviegoers and to present Bond with an endless array of possible bed partners. The most telling part of their roles to play has to be the names given to them. Bond girls have one of the most sexually suggestive names in movie history, if not the most. These girls were named to elicit just one response – the need for sex. Judge for yourself.

Simon may be all praises for Paula now, but we know this is a marketing move to get the American Idol fans to switch over to his show. The show will premiere on Fox this fall. “This show wouldn’t have been the same without Paula, and I can’t believe I am saying this – I have missed her a lot,” said Simon. (Cue bad karaoke music.)

Quite sad to learn from a boy who seemed all held together in his character  chasing  dark demons.  In an interview,  Radcliffe reveals  he needed alcohol to enjoy stuff in real time.  It was as if he was drawn to this idea of living the life of a famous person where he got caught up in the lifestyle that didn’t quite fit in to who he really is.

Months of preparation of have been done to welcome their little princess, as David expresses getting used to too much pink and lilac in the house. Their little posh pink spice bundle already has an entire wardrobe and baby boudoir waiting for her at this very moment.

The couple has gone through a lot of changes preparing for their new bundle of joy. Sources say that Victoria temporarily moved out of their marital bedroom to seek a bigger spacious refuge in her own bedroom suite. This isn’t too much girl power in the works here, as the lovely pregnant posh spice finds it difficult sleeping next to her soccer prince when she feels like a beached whale. She says she needs more space to stretch out! Judging by her very recent photos, the woman can still fit in a tight pair of skinny jeans and look smashing in them! What is she on about?

Days before her scheduled C-section, Victoria has been sharing her bedroom suite with a furry roomie … their new puppy French bulldog Scarlet to comfort her pregnant woes.

The 37 year old posh momma reveals her plans to breastfeed her daughter. This is a first for Victoria since she had her boys fed on formula. Having a daughter made her think twice about formula feeding, and decided to go all natural and perfectly different for their little girl.

After being admitted for rehab treatment on alcohol related problems five times, “Tudors” star Jonathan Rhys Meyers was just recently rushed to the hospital on account of a suicide attempt. Paramedics were forced to call the police after the 33 yrs old Irish actor refused treatment. The squabble took a good 30 minutes until he was eventually whisked away by an ambulance to a nearby hospital in north London.

Reports from sources have them definitely speculating the actor did try to take his life. Meyer’s close neighbours witnessed the incident as they all worriedly watched the commotion when the ambulance and police arrived at the actors residence.

It is believed Meyer’s overdosed on unspecified pills. Police confirmed that they were asked to attend the said incident as the London Ambulance Service called in  due to a man refusing treatment.

Meyer’s was discharged from the hospital but would not comment on questions that imposed he tried to commit suicide.

The actor is known to his neighbours as a very pleasant man and never fails to greet and say hello. He is always out and about in his neighbourhood, which had all his neighbours baffled and worried when they witnessed the entire incident.

Alcoholism most certainly is a trigger factor for depression and eventual suicide. The battle may seem like a lifetime struggle for some, but so long as hope still shines even the tiniest flicker, it’s those times one finds himself getting up to fight and live through the next is what matters most. We hope the flicker continues to burn for Jonathan Rhys Meyers
