She, together with other former Nirvana members, are very upset about the fact that Kurt Cobain’s character in Guitar Hero 5 is unlockable. That means that once the character is unlocked, it can be used for any song in the game. According to Courtney, the agreement was that Cobain would appear in two songs, that’s it. Activision says the exact opposite.

Marilyn Monroe is no doubt one of the most sought after actresses despite her passing away. On Tuesday, a collection of her pictures sold for a whopping $150,000! These pics were taken in 1962, considered to be the last professional set taken. Whew!

Hollywood is still reeling from the writers’ strike that happened recently and now the SAG is up in arms about their own situation. A potential strike is in the works but it seems that actors are not united in their efforts. The group is now split – with some supporting a strike and others opposing it. Tom Hanks is among those who are against the strike while Mel Gibson is lending it his full support.

Ashley Jensen, known to many as Christina McKinney in Ugly Betty, recently filed a lawsuit against Jeff Lewis and Ryan Brown, stars of Flippin’ Out. Apparently, Lewis started on a project in a property adjacent to Jensen’s and left a deck which encroached on their property. The result? A minor tiff that has turned ugly. Read the full story here.

They were given the latest copies of GQ, which has Jen on the cover wearing – ready for this? – only a tie. Watch the short clip here and you’ll see why she got those reactions.

It’s almost time for the Oscars again and despite the huge following that it has gained over the decades, it seems that the ratings for the event have spiralled downwards in the recent years.  This time around, we can expect them to come up with something big in an effort to capture everyone’s attention.  For starters, organizers have signed up hottie Hugh Jackman to host the show.  Will his charisma and appeal be enough to pull up the ratings?  I know it’s reason enough for me to watch.

Ok. You might be asking who is Tina Sherman. I was asking the same thing until I read about her lawsuit against McDonald’s. It’s really an interesting story: Sherman’s husband left his cell phone at McDonald’s. He called the store, they kept in the back until he picked it up. Everything’s ok, right?
