Black Eyed Peas founder and producer extraordinaire Will.i.Am says he wants no part in the new Michael Jackson album because it stands against everything Michael believed in.
Will.i.am told EW:
“Whoever put it out and is profiting off of it, I want to see how cold they are … He just wasn’t any ordinary artist. He was a hands-on person. To me it’s disrespectful. There’s no honoring.”
According to Will.i.Am the biggest issue is using unfinished Michael Songs on the album:
“Michael Jackson songs are finished when Michael says they’re finished … Maybe if I never worked with him I wouldn’t have this perspective. He was very particular about how he wanted his vocals, the reverb he used … he was that hands-on.”
While it’s true that money will be made, the Michael Jackson estate, namely his children are the one’s to most profit off the album, so I call this one a toss up, after all I’m sure he would want what’s best for his children.

Pink loves to make social statements in her music videos and Raise Your Glass is no different. Pink jumps from Rosie The Riveter to a Gay wedding, bullfighting and just about every other modern example of underdog empowerment to show off her “sticking it to everyone” attitude.
I personally love Pink’s more up tempo songs and “Raise Your Glass” is Pink at her rocking out, I’ll take on the world best.
If you like the music video (below) you can pick it up on her 10th Year Anniversary Greatest Hits So Far album later this month.

At 34-minutes long, Kanye West has broken the world record for longest music video, debuting his new epic “Runaway.”
The music video is visually a departure from Wests’ other past video projects, providing listeners/viewers with a hip-hop epic that at points can drag on with chats and repeating beats I personally could have done without.
The version we’ve chosen to show gets rid of the swear words to make it safe for work.
The synopsis is that a phoenix (Selita Ebanks) plays a metaphor for West’s return to the top of his game. While West keeps using the video to talk about the hate he received from Taylor Swift fans after he dissed her at the 2009 MTV VMAs. Read the rest of this entry »
