The Michael Jackson film This Is It was released on Tuesday night, worldwide, and fans showed their overwhelming support – $2.2 million on opening night alone. Certainly unprecedented, I wouldn’t be surprised if this film breaks even more records in the days to come.

Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift seem to be getting along quite well. The youngsters are starring together in a romantic comedy, Valentine’s Day, and have been spending a lot of quality time together. They have not officially announced that they are a couple, but I believe it’s just a matter of time. For what it’s worth, they seem to be a good match!

Boo Boo Stewart, the saga’s newest cast member might have been talking too much. He said that there will be five movies in the saga, but producers say that that statement is a bit premature. A case of over excitement, maybe?

The movie has been quite successful and it seems that some people are looking to cash in on this success. The news is that Marta Kauffman and Warner Bros. Television are planning on bringing the story to television in the form of a series. Marta Kauffman is the person behind the iconic show “Friends.” That should bode well for the potential series, shouldn’t it?

Connor Cruise, Tom Cruise’s 14-year-old son is getting ready to take part in the remake of Red Dawn. He will play the role of Daryl, a teenager who fights foreign invaders. This is not his first time on the big screen. He played the young Will Smith in Seven Pounds.

The modern day version of G.I. Joe seems to have lived up to expectations – it opened this weekend with $22.3M on Friday alone. Those figures should have went up over Saturday. No surprise there, as countless fans have been waiting to relive their childhood ever since the news of the movie was released.

Who would have thought that there was going to be another installment in the series? According to reports, this project is moving fast and Josh Applebaum and Andre Nemec have already been hired to write the script. J.J. Abrams and Tom Cruise are producing the film.
