Speaking of young Hollywood, the "it" girl of the moment, Miley Cyrus, a.k.a. Hannah Montana, was seen getting into the holiday spirit as she donned reindeer gear for Christmas episode of her show. Miley told the press that she thought the holidays were a time for family:
"It's important at Christmastime to be daring – to put your cell phone and your computer away and actually be with your family and not just be worrying about other things that you can deal with every other day."

Miley Cyrus' boyfriend Justin Gaston has been sold to the press as this clean, young gentleman. But the pictures that recently came out of an obviously drunk Justin, taking pictures without his top on with other men and dry humping one guy belies the truth.

Miley Cyrus finally confirmed that she and Nick Jonas were once an item.
“We became boyfriend and girlfriend the day we met,” Cyrus says in the September issue of Seventeen Magazine. “He was on a quest to meet me, and he was like, ‘I think you’re beautiful and I really like you.’ And I was like, ‘Oh, my gosh, I like you so much.’”
They broke up after two years, but she’s not discounting that one day she could marry him. Right now, she’s happy “being the girl nobody can have.”

Katy Girl of “I Kissed a Girl” said she was hoping to snag a same-sex smooch onstage with Miley Cyrus at the Teen’s Choice awards.. Sort of like Madonna-Britney.
Miley’s response? “No thanks,” the Hannah Montana star told me yesterday with a laugh. “She sang on my record. So I think she’s kind of getting back at me, because she was doing harmonies and backgrounds.”

Check out the latest issue of In Style magazine to get a peek of Miley Cyrus’ home. The actress gushes about her “beachy” bedroom and ultra-feminine dressing room, which has hot pink walls and a black crystal chandelier. The home has a Mediterranean design with a pop art twist — hence the zebra striped arm chairs.
Miley also shares some of her insecurities. She told her mom she’d never buy another magazine until she gets over the anxiety of not looking like a cover model. Her mom said, “You are that girl!” and she answered, ‘I know, but I don’t feel like that girl every day.’ You can’t always feel perfect.”

The Vanity Fair scandal certainly got Miley Cyrus thinking. “We’re all changing,” the 15-year-old Cyrus told a screaming crowd Saturday onstage at KIIS-FM’s Wango Tango concert in Irvine, Calif. “I thank you for helping me as I grow through that.”
Sometimes we forget that even if she’s a star, she’s just a kid — and kids make mistakes. Even Tyra Banks has rallied to her side, saying that “she’s just 15″ and there are many requests from people who will try to take advantage of her. Sometimes it’s the adults surrounding teen stars who’ll have to play mediator, Banks hints, saying her own mom once nixed a request for her to pose nude.

Annie Liebovitz, the famous photographer who took the controversial photos of Miley Cyrus, says the whole situation has been misinterpreted.
“Miley and I looked at fashion photographs together and we discussed the picture in that context before we shot it. The photograph is a simple, classic portrait, shot with very little makeup, and I think it is very beautiful.”
Unfortunately most people think it’s inappropriate and there is talk that this could ruin Miley’s career.

It was bound to happen sometime. While Miley Cyrus’ photo scandal by no means reaches Paris Hilton levels of indecency, her “provocative” photos for Vanity Fair definitely hurt her good girl image. Looking half-naked, lying on a lap of her-then boyfriend, a bra peeping out? That ain’t Disney, that’s for sure.
Miley apologized for the photos and her parents called it “a learning experience.” Oh well.

No, not really Hannah, but Miley Cyrus, who plays the tween sensation on the Disney Channel hit show. The bubbly pop star and actress was born Destiny Hope Cyrus but was given the nickname Smiley Miley by her country croonin’ Dad Billy Ray because of, duh, her sunny disposition.
The Los Angeles Superior Court have confirmed that she has filed papers to change her name to Miley Ray Cyrus.

Miley Cyrus, AKA Miley Stewart or Hannah Montana, vehemently denied that the undesireable pics of her circulating the internet were nothing more than innocent fun. The very upset 15-year-old said:
“At first, I was really upset. It really sucks. …..It’s not something I’m going to let slide……I’m really upset about it, ’cause it was, like, not even a big deal.”
The Hannah Montana star further explained that the blonde in the photos were one of her best friends, someone “normal” who she hangs with all the time.
Okay, Miley, we’ll give you the benefit of the doubt this time, but honestly, is that what 15-year-olds do at sleepovers nowadays?
