While on her tour in Sydney, shutterbugs have spotted Miley and Liam last Sunday just hanging like old times . Being an Australian, we’re guessing Liam found this a perfect opportunity to show Miley around his native city. They were seen browsing at a Far East- style home décor and clothing store and a were followed onto a noodle restaurant chain having lunch. If they manage not to split up in the next few weeks, Liam may just as well catch Miley on the last leg of her tour down under in Perth on July 2.

But the doll in case isn't an ordinary Miley Cyrus doll, nor is the star wearing glasses, this doll has been flying of the shelves and was sold out within 48 hours according to a spokes person of Pipedream Products, the doll's manufacturer. Sold out minus some which have been taken off the shelves for legal reasons. Legal reasons before adolescents and basement dwellers online could order it from Amazon, which sold it the doll for around $28 in the US.

We of course understand that everyone, when mum's not cleaning out the IT and bat cave, prefers to shop Amazon for dolls, rather than ordering online glasses, but I think you guys have been pushing a little too hard and crossed the boundary this time. As if your Lady Gaga, Kylie Minogue and other celebrity dolls on that cubicle desk weren't enough yet, this time you needed to expand the collection with a Finally Miley piece?

That truly goes too far, guys.

Miley Cyrus is obviously ready to put her Hannah Montana days behind her. “I want to take a step back from music for a while,” she recently said. “I want to continue to do film. Later in life, another record. But for now, I’d like to focus on movies.”

Thanks to Mrs. Kutcher, we now know the new movie Miley is working on. Demi Moore tweeted last week, “Starting a film in July with Miley called LOL.” She later added, “Remake with the same director.”

LOL (Laughing Out Loud) is a 2009 French movie directed by Liza Azuelos. According to IMDB, the film is about a teenage girl named Lola (a.k.a. Lol) who is dealing with a breakup, while her mother is having an affair with her ex-husband. Both mother and daughter are dealing with their issues on love, life, and family. The story also focuses on the role of technology (mobile phones, mp3 players, and internet chatting) and how it still manages to make communication difficult between teens and their parents.

Sounds like a serious plot.

She recently announced that she’s staying away from the country music genre that has defined her all these years. Miley Cyrus told Parade magazine last month: “It feels contrived on so many levels.” Her dad Billy Ray Cyrus agreed that she should start ditching the cowboy hats and boots.

She is releasing a new album this summer, and as promised, there will be zero country. “It's kind of poppier, but then it still has an edge,” the 17-year-old told MTV. “My new record has more of a techno vibe on some stuff.”

It looks like she’s going down the Leighton Meester/ David Guetta collaboration route. That doesn’t sound so bad, seeing that she’s keener on her movie career now. “[After my summer album], I want to take a step back from music for a while,” she explained. “I want to continue to do film. Later in life, another record. But for now, I’d like to focus on movies.”

Do you think Miley is better off as an actress or should she stick to her singing?

“I’m actually buying a place,” she told People. “I haven’t moved in yet. I’m still reconstructing and stuff.”

Mom and dad aren’t worried (yet). Miley’s new pad is very close to her family’s current Toluca Lake, California, residence, and she’s not moving out until she turns 18 in November.

Sure, mom “is stoked” about the new pad, but I wonder what protective dad Billy feels about Miley moving out.

Miley Cyrus is steering clear of the country scene. As her Disney character Hannah Montana would say: “Say what?!”

According to TMZ, the other Disney starlet is busy earning her millions this year. She got $65,000 for her new movie Ramona and Beezus, which will be shown in US theaters on August 13. And if the movie does well in the box office, Fox Pictures could give the 17-year-old a bonus anywhere from $250,000 to $1 million.

Selena’s also busy with her popstar career while continuously working on the hit Disney show, Wizards of Waverly Place. Seeing that Miley’s Hannah Monatana is soon coming to an end, Selena could very well be next in line to take the crown.

She always said she wanted to do more mature roles onscreen, so here’s her chance to prove that she can do something better than her bubblegum Disney acting.

The Last Song is another Nicholas Sparks book-turned-movie about a rebellious New York teenager who has to spend the summer with her estranged father, a concert pianist, in Tybee Island, Georgia. She slowly reconnects with her father through their mutual love for music. She meets a hot teenage guy and falls for him in the process. Watch the full trailer here:

I have not read this book, nor have I heard any spoilers about it. But if we’re using past Nicholas Sparks bestsellers as a basis, chances are, the movie will draw out your deepest emotions, after which it will completely crush your heart when one significant character is killed off in the end. Seriously, why does someone always have to die in a Nicholas Sparks book? Not in The Last Song, I hope.

Back to Miley. I have high hopes for her new flick, coming out in April. She reveals in the February cover story of Harper’s Bazaar that she’s still searching her soul and finding herself. That would’ve made a great motivation for the scenes in The Last Song. I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

Disney has finally confirmed that Miley Cyrus’ main star vehicle Hannah Montana is ending after its fourth season.

“You never know in this business… but right now, we’re scheduled to wrap after shooting this new batch of episodes,” said Disney Channel programming executive Adam Bonnet.

Miley fans need not to worry; the 17-year-old popstar has a lot of projects to look forward to. She’s on Harper Bazaar’s February cover, where she talks about seeking more mature roles and still figuring out who she is. She’s also starring with Liam Hemsworth in her second flick, The Last Song, out this April.

When the official trailer for Sex and The City 2 was released last month, diehard fans were disappointed to find out that no major plot was unveiled. Unless director Michael Patrick King is keeping the juicy bits under wraps until opening night on May 28, the trailer doesn’t seem to have anything exciting other than the usual.

All four girls look sexy and stylish as always. Carrie is happily married to Big; Samantha has her eye on a new boy toy; Charlotte is mommy of the year, while Miranda is more fashionable. The four girlfriends are planning a trip to Morocco, and Miley Cyrus has a cameo.

That’s it. Unless something naughty and scandalous is waiting in Morocco, SATC fans are biting nails in anticipation.

I came across this photo of you and I must say I am impressed. You see I know what it is like to be young and want to rebel against the system that has made you, but in the long run you have to understand your legacy is being built right now. If you carry yourself around looking like this then you will last much longer in the fame game.

Stop humping poles on top of grocery carts. Nobody wants a sexy Miley Cyrus…yet. First we have to see you can be mature and handle yourself as a woman. Being only 17 you still have a way to go, but gain the public’s respect with outfits like this and the road will be easier.

The musical extravaganza catered to all types of fans. R&B/hip-hop lovers grooved to the tunes of Ne-Yo, Flo-Rida, Janet Jackson, and Dizzee Rascal. Boy band hysterics partied like it’s 1999 with Westlife and the Backstreet Boys. The Sugababes, JLS, and Pixie Lott showed off their UK flair with their latest hits. The Noisettes and Metro Station added some rock flavor to the scene.

The event’s showstoppers were the sexy popstars who dressed like it’s the last day of 2009. There was Lady Gaga who proudly made it to Santa’s naughty list, thanks to her “cherry, cherry, boom, boom” bikini. There was teen sensation Miley Cyrus who raised eyebrows with another provocative outfit. The Saturdays opted for skimpier costumes for their performance. Shakira’s hips didn’t lie as she performed “Whenever, Wherever” onstage.

The two-day show was a success, if you count the 16,000 people who attended day two alone. Fans of all ages uploaded their personal accounts of the event on Capital FM’s website.

Lady Gaga was ushered into the venue as Santa’s reindeer. She quickly changed into a red-hot bikini, fishnet stockings, black lace-up boots, and her famous disco stick when she hit the stage for her six-song set. Check out her red-hot outfit here.
