Can you believe she was once that adorable kid who stole our hearts in I Am Sam, Taken, and Hide and Seek? Dakota Fanning turned 16 last February 23rd and celebrated a few days early with a low-key party.

The guys at E! Online tracked down the actress when she celebrated with less than 50 guests at Beverly Hills hotspot Villa Blanca. Did she get a brand new car in true Sweet Sixteen fashion? “I don’t even have a permit yet!” she told the paparazzi. Check out E!’s video below:

Sweet! On October 24 at the Sunset Beach Restaurant in Hollywood, popstar Katy Perry threw a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory themed party to celebrate her turning 25.

Celebrity guests such as Perez Hilton, Taylor Swift, Jojo, and Katy’s actor boyfriend Russel Brand entered the venue decked in all white (as stated by the dress code) and came out splattered with neon paint. Turns out the celebs had their dose of fun with the finger painting games.

Taylor Swift’s dress got splattered with strawberry jam and neon-colored food paint.

The Willy Wonka extravaganza wasn’t complete without Oompah Loompahs, bright colored decked lights, and enough candy treats to satisfy her guests’ sweet tooth. The birthday girl herself sported Oompah Loompah nail decals.

Oompah Loompahs were omnipresent at the candy-colored party.

Perez was quick to report on his blog: “[sic] Dinner included lots of yumminess, especially some deelish yellow and green mashed potatoes—and there was so many sweets downstairs for dessert that we're surprised we didn’t go into a food coma.”

Perez Hilton thought he looked kind of like the tooth fairy in his costume.

Singer Joanna “JoJo” Levesque got her sugar rush at the party.
