The answer, if there is one, is that no one really knows! Each actor has been known to spend a lot of money in customizing these mobile luxury trailers. While some actors don’t exactly own one of their own, they do need one during shooting and the production team, normally, provides them with one. Even in these cases, these actors have their tastes that these production team members need to satisfy.

So here’s a look at the luxuries that lie in this treasure trove that Hollywood stars enjoy:

Slide Out Rooms

These mobile five-star resorts are, to be a bit harsh, small! They cannot be too wide because they do need to run on regular roads while too long might make city driving and turning impossible. All motor homes have a hidden gem, which is, primarily, the reason for their popularity. These motor homes slide out from the sides, the back and the top. This not only creates a lot more room inside, a whole new room can be created by simply pushing one side out completely.

In some cases, upto four extendible rooms slide out of luxury motor homes. If only real houses had that feature!

Complete Kitchens

Marco Pierre White can host complete dinner services in these massive kitchens. They might not seem like much but when you slide out all the ends, you get fully armed kitchens with running water, ovens, sinks, stoves and everything else that you might need.

5-Star Bathrooms

If you are spending all that time out on tedious film shoots in the hot Bali Sun, you will need a shower to wipe off that sweat. Step into a bathroom with a shower cubical, a bath tub and some extremely large mirrors & sinks that make you wonder how they got them in, in the first place.

Massive Bedrooms

From Futons to water beds to almost everything that you can imagine – actors want to bring their home’s luxury into their trailers. That means, beds are massive with all the paraphernalia that comes with being a star. So what if they don’t spend a second sleeping on it – what matters is that if the need arises, there should be adequate arrangements.

Living Spaces

For different actors, this means different things. While some might use them as meeting rooms, others use it to chill. Yet, there are others who might prefer to use it for some social gatherings and even, more, others who’d prefer a quiet time for some contemplation. Either ways, living spaces are necessary and are, usually, in the parts that slide out to create more space.

Vanity Station

Probably the busiest part of these vans, vanity mirrors are large, as large as can fit inside. There are plenty of lights to give a bright view of the actors’ faces while they get their make-up artists to come in and transform them from rags to riches. Without a vanity mirror section , these trailers might as well be the Woody Allen movie screenings!

Whether you get the opportunity to live in them or not, these mobile luxury vans are stuff that dreams are made of. A source close to Jennifer Aniston says that you won't see her dating normal guys; that what she does is to go after the hottest guy at the moment, so that she will get herself in the limelight. Remember about a week ago when we heard wild forecasts about the 3D movie of THE brothers? Well, apparently, it did not do as well as forecasted. The movie didn't do that bad, actually, getting abotu $12.7 million in the first 3 days. It was short of the $15m that the studio was hoping for though, and way way short of the crazy predictions that reached $25m.

Teeny boppers all over the world are waiting for something big this year – the Jonas Brothers are going on a World Tour and are set to announce their stops next month or early March. These young boys have indeed made it far! More details in their MySpace Blog.

Not. Apparently, a McDonald’s employee uploaded nude photos of Tina Sherman to the internet. These are photos that Sherman took for her husband and sent to him via cell phone. They were not intended to be seen by anyone else. At least that’s her story.

Here’s my theory. I think Tina Sherman and her husband contrived this whole thing. Whether they thought of it before or after they left the phone at McDonalds doesn’t matter. I’m betting they realized that they could set this whole thing up and potentially earn millions of dollars for doing so. And it was the Shermans who uploaded the photos to the net. Hopefully the FBI can trace the images to their source.

Michael Jackson may lose Neverland Mansion. The sprawling estate in Santa Barbara County is up for foreclosure. Once one of the richest singers, MIchael’s millions may have been eaten up by legal battles and far too much cosmetic surgery. (Or should we say medical treatments for a rare skin disease?).

Michael owes about $23, 212, 953, on an outstanding loan of $23, 000,000. He’s skipped 3 mortgage installments. Maybe his cover appearance on Ebony magazine in celebration of the 25th anniversary of Thriller will generate just enough life into his career to pay for an apartment.

Jake was born in Los Angeles, California on December 19, 1980 to director Stephen Gyllenhaal and producer / screenwriter Naomi Foner Gyllenhaal.  Jake has some nobility in his veins, being a descendant if the Swedish noble Gyllenhaal family.  He was raised in the Jewish religion and had his Bar Mitzvah at a homeless shelter, his parents tried to instill a sense of appreciation for his privileged lifestyle.  He is the godson of Jamie Lee Curtis and is a godfather himself to Heath Ledger’s daughter, Matilda Rose. 

Gyllenhaal graduated high school and headed off to Columbia University.  He stayed in college for a couple of year, but dropped out to concentrate on his acting career.  He actually had his film debut at the age eleven in City Slickers (so go grab that movie for the weekend and try to find ole Jake), he then began to establish himself with such films as October Sky before being cast in the title role of the highly acclaimed Donnie Darko.

Jake won attention after his work on Darko which was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for Bets Actor.  He soon played opposite of reality TV hater Jennifer Aniston in another Sundance favorite, The Good Girl, which also won rave reviews.  So, he’s looking good- in some great films, on his way up, etc.  Then he decides to a part of The Day After Tomorrow in 2004.  This movie was considered to be a commentary on the possible effects of global warming, but all it did for me was think, “Why is Jake in a blockbuster action film?  Where is the Sundance king?”

From Molto Mario, which he played opposite his sister Maggie, to Jarhead, I just keep getting more confused as to what attracts Jake to these roles.  Can it really just be for the money?  He was reportedly paid $6 for his violent Marine role in Jarhead.  But then the Sundance cowboy stuck out his head once again with Ang Lee’s Brokeback Mountain. 

Brokeback won the coveted golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival, four BAFTA Awards and three Academy awards.  So, he must be doing something right, right?  Maybe I just hold Day After Tomorrow grudges.  He will always be the interesting, yet demented, Donni Darko to me.

First big payday:  $2 million for There’s Something About Mary, 1998

Current price tag:  $20 million

News:  This Hollywood babe is currently working on none other than Shrek 3, set to hit screens in 2007.

Will Smith:

Age:  38

First big payday:  $500,000 for Six Degrees of Separation, 1993

Current price tag:  $20 million + 20% of gross (I like how the man thinks!)

News:  Smith is currently working on The Pursuit of Happyness in which he plays a rags-to-riches banker who is trying to get a new start on life, due out later this year.

Julia Roberts:

Age:  39

First big payday:  $50,000 for Mystic Pizza, 1988

Current price tag:  $27 million

News:  Roberts will be delighting all, and filling up her bank account, with this year’s Charlotte’s Web.  The animated feature includes many A-list stars including:  Oprah Winfrey, John Cleese, Steve Buscemi, Cedric The Entertainer, Reba McEntire & Kathy Bates.
