Guess who’s tying the knot this week  and adding a 4^th husband to her list of attempts for eternal marital bliss? Sinead O’ Connor celebrates her 45^th birthday on the same day she exchanges nuptial vows with boyfriend Barrie Herridge.

Strangely enough, the singer turned priestess, who also once admitted she was a dyke has just recently gone public through her blog, about her quest and desperation for sex. Last August, O’Connor expressed utter depression on the fact that she is way too lovely to be living the wonderful celibate life of a nun. Hence, this has prompted her to go on a public hunt for  a lover.

Okay, now as much as we would all like to find some coherence in all the twisted facts about this woman,  there is no point in trying to.  As everything this talented singer  has tried to make of herself all through her years of being ….uh…. herself, nothing just seems to make any sense at all.

O’ Connor has 4 children from 3 previous marriages.  She divorced  ex husband no.3, Oz singer Steve Cooney last April, just 8 months after marrying him!

So now what? Does she remain a dyke priest or is she  a reborn woman now? With that huge tattoo on her chest, we’re guessing it’s all up to divine intervention to get her properly sorted out.

What else could be sweeter than a Christmas bling to go with Christmas cheer? Anne Hathaway is certainly basking in all this,  as she gets to dazzle paparazzi attention  with the unmistakable bauble on her finger.

Having totally confirmed her engagement to  fiancé Adam Shulman, the 29 year old actress  showed off her man and her bling while taking a romantic afternoon stroll at the park along with their chocolate lab doggy just this weekend.

The couple seemed to enjoy just whiling away the day locked in each other’s arms and lips and seemingly careless of the cameras clicking from a distance.

A girl can only be so lucky when her fiancé just happens to be a jewelry designer/actor as this only reassures her of some serious bling soon as the question gets popped. And sure enough, Adam Shulman had nothing but the best in his mind for this rather fitting occasion. He worked hand in hand with Kwiat Heritage Jewels to have Anne’s ring entirely custom made with a mouth dropping  6.1 carat diamond set in platinum and approximately rings the cash register at $ 150,000.00.

All seems rosy at this time for the couple, who began dating back in 2008. Anne admits that her current romance is a wee bit more on the mellow side but admits this makes for a rather good life than it is a juicy story to write about.

Kim Kardashian has turned non-celebrity longevity into a science. You'd be hard pressed to find any other reality TV star who has enjoyed lasting popularity over doing nothing -- well, except for showing that impossibly large butt. But now you can add another achievement for Kardashian, the ability to turn a wedding into both an amazingly extravagant affair, and at the same time earn from it as well. Simmons’ refusal to get hitched has become legendary – he has probably become the demigod of eternal bachelors like George Clooney – although Clooney has the face and debonair reputation to carry it with style. Simmons is just, well, let’s face it he attracts the more skanky demographic.

So back to the wedding. The man has finally decided that it’s high time to make a legitimate woman of the mother of his two children. The wedding is slated to be held on October 1. Some say that this is just another stunt to get more viewers to watch their reality show Gene Simmons: Family Jewels, but as a hopeless romantic I hope that this one is the real deal. It will just blow if they use marriage as a publicity stunt – yes, I’m looking at you Spencer and Heidi.

The couple secretly tied the knot in a hush hush ceremony which only had four people in attendance. Apart from Craig’s 18 year old daughter, Ella , Weisz also had her 4 yr old son Henry standing by. There were only two other friends who shared this blissful day in NewYork with the couple.

After a nine year relationship with “ Black Swan “ director Darren Aronofsky, the actors have finally broken their silence on their years of platonic friendship. Craig was also in a previous relationship and engaged to Satsuki Mitchell for five years.   Reports started buzzing in November 2010 when they there were first linked, as a result of their upcoming horror movie “ The Dream House”.

Craig and Weisz were also last spotted shopping at a Louis Vuitton store in London last March.

Both Weisz and Craig are currently doing a movie where they play husband in wife in “The Dream House”. True enough, this made things much more convenient for them to be linked in real time.

In case you’re having a hard time pinning a face to Daniel Craig, the actor is best known in his portrayal of the amorous dashing debonair, James Bond. Craig is up for the 23^rd movie series of James Bond entitled “ The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo”. Although the sequel has been delayed due to some financial issues, progress on the film still hasn’t pegged a release date.

On the other hand, you can mark down horror movie popcorn dates for “The Dream House” in September.

TLC has signed in to exclusively feature a special on the couple’s upcoming wedding tentatively titled Nick and Vanessa’s Dream Wedding.  The network has not announced a premier date as of yet, but word has it it will be aired just within a few weeks after the wedding ceremony.  Then again, there is still the mystery of the wedding date as the couple has been keeping their lips tightly sealed on this.

Lachey who is now 37, married his first wife Jessica Simpson in 2002 which was aired as a special on MTV . This became the take off point of their  3 year  MTV reality show “ Newlyweds:  Nick and Jessica”.  Shortly after their marriage ended in 2006, Lachey started dating  TV host and actress Vanessa Minnilo.

Nick and Vanessa got engaged in November 2010 after a rumoured brief split.  And since it looks like love is definitely running all the way to the altar, the couple expressed their gratitude to their loving fans by  sharing their exciting journey to married bliss via their chronicled wedding TV coverage.

TLC  network manager  Amy Winter reveals the wedding  special will also feature footages from the joint wedding shower, and the search for  Vanessa’s wedding dress.

Of course not to be over shadowed by all this wedding media excitement of her ex husband, Jessica Simpson announced her engagement to ex-football player Eric Johnson just a week after Lachey and Minnilo made their wedding plans public.

Kim began dating 26 year old New Jersey Nets forward, Humphries last December and from that point onwards, the couple  seemed to be  so closely drawn to each other .   This became quite evident when the 30 yr old fashion mogul decided to move to NYC  in her efforts to be close to her man.

Kim remained fervently mum on her engagement but was always very vocal on how she sees her guy and their relationship. She describes Humphries as a man with a really good heart and stated her beliefs in utmost trust, honesty and chemistry in any relationship.

Known for keeping a tight lip on his private life, 68 year old McCartney has been dating 51 year old Shevell for nearly four years after the rather bitter divorce of the famous Beatle with then wife, Heather Mills.

Receiving honorable knighthood from Queen Elizabeth, Sir Paul McCartney has 29 years of solid marriage to American photographer Linda Eastman. Paul admits they have only ever spent 11 nights apart during their entire marriage but sadly enough, breast cancer took her away from this wedded bliss in 1998. Their happy union gave them four children, one of which is well known designer Stella McCartney.

Love took McCartney on a second adventure with his marriage to British former model, Heather Mills in 2002 and gave them a daughter. However, the adventure turned sour for the couple and eventually led to a bitter divorce in 2006 and a legal squabble over money in 2008.

To date, Sir Paul McCartney seems to be basking in love with the Nancy Shevell, who happens to be a distinguished board member of the New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority. We certainly wish one of the wealthiest musicians in Britain another shot at bliss. With his fortune estimated to tip at $811 million, what more could he ask for?

Well, it’s pretty hard not to notice the big bauble on her finger. The 9 carat emerald-cut diamond ring is set on platinum with tapered baguettes on the side and is estimated to cost a jaw dropping $ 200,000. The couple started dating around spring of last year and announced they were expecting a baby sometime in January. According to Hudson on an interview with InStyle magazine, they were tempting fate and, it seems fate was definitely on their side.

Her first marriage to Black Crowes singer Chris Robinson blessed them with a son, who is now 7 years old. However, their marriage ended in a divorce in 2007. In 2009, Kate Hudson had a hot romance with yet another star in his own league; New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez. After all that high profile dating with Hudson, the athlete worked his way onto Cameron Diaz.

The movie “Something Borrowed” is adapted from the book of the same title by Emily Griffin. It stars Kate Hudson alongside Ginnifer Goodwin and John Krasinski. It’s a chic flick alright, but it has a definite real time factor in its story line that can be a sure fire fun flick to watch with the girls.

For their intimate civil ceremony, the bride wore a lilac chiffon dress that complimented the Grammy winning groom’s gray suit. The couple eagerly exchanged a kiss for the cameras, with the crowd totally not expecting the bride to toss out her bouquet to the mob of fans.  A 300 full seating guest list was in the sheets for a full wedding ceremony at the Villa Maria Paz to celebrate with family and friends, as well as another celebration of course, in Vancouver.

Luisana, 23, is  known as Argentina’s most famous actress. She met Michael Buble’ during his South American tour in 2008. They were introduced to each other at his after show party and from that day, Buble’ said it was love at first sight.

The 35 yr old Canadian singer  was seriously dating Emily Blunt for about two years and at some point, was once engaged to singer/actress Debbie Timuss.  This time around, Buble’ supposedly made it a point to propose in front his fiancée’s family.  Incidentally, he wrote a song especially for her, entitled “Haven’t Met You Yet” and sang this during their wedding celebration to serenade his bride.

Mike Myers and his longtime girlfriend Kelly Tisdale tied the knot in a super secret wedding that occurred months ago.

According to a report by The New York Post, the happy couple married five months ago in New York city after more than 5 years of dating.

Myers began dating Tisdale just a short period of time after the 47-year-old actor split from his then wife Robin Ruzan, they were married for 12 years before that divorce was finalized.

Very few details about the new couples recent marriage have been made available at this time, but good job to Myers for keeping it a secret for such a long period of time by Hollywood standards.

Two weeks ago Kelsey Grammer’s divorce to Camille Grammer was made official and now he’s moved on to wife number four, 29-year-old Kayte Walsh.

The couple married in a ceremony held at Longacre Theatre in New York City on Friday afternoon. Grammer wore a tuxedo with black pants and a white shirt, while being accompanies by eight body guards who carried giant black and white umbrellas to shield him from the paparazzi, while Kayte wore a Peter Langner for Mark Ingram gown.

After the wedding the couple held a reception dinner at Manhattan’s Plaza Hotel.

Having just announced their engagement in December the couple moved awfully fast to reach the alter, but it could have been faster, you know if Grammer wasn’t still busy getting divorced from wife number three.

Grammer’s divorce to Camille was finalized on February 10.

While Angelina Pivarnick may no longer be a member of the highly successful Jersey Shore crew, she does have reason to celebrate, she was presented this week with a 2.5-carat diamon ring during New York Fashion Week.

Boyfriend David Kovacs popped the question while the couple were walking the red carpet, getting down on one knee in front of photographers and friends.

“The ring is platinum and 2.5 karats. She was totally surprised but looked really happy and covered her face with her hand to hide her excitement. She kept dropping the ring on the carpet because she was so nervous. But David picked her up and the two hugged and kissed.”

Later on Pivarnick told Radar

“Oh my God, the kid just got down on one knee and I was like, what the fuck???”

Pivarnick is now trying to launch a music career after Jersey Shore landed her in therapy or so she says.

Baby Spice has announced her engagement. Emma Bunton, 35, is the youngest of the Spice Girls and announced her engagement on Friday via Twitter, tweeting to her followers: “Yahoooo I’m Engaged!”

After announcing the engagement Bunton Tweeted:

Less than a year after cheating on Sandra Bullock, Jesse James has announced his engagement to current girlfriend Kat Von D.

Kat Von D and Jesse James have been official since September and have been spotted all over the country in each others arms.

James told PEOPLE on Thursday that his fiance is:

James went on to tell the celebrity mag:

Actress Vivica Fox has announced plans to marry boyfriend Omar “Slimm” White.

Vivica, 46 is nearly 20 years the senior to Slimm, talk about the Demi/Ashton hook-up!

Slimm proposed to his future wife with a huge 8-karat diamond ring while on holiday at the Ritz Carlton, South Beach.

Talking about her relationship on the Wendy Williams Show in December Fox said:

“My career has been my baby for such a long time and I’ve done well by that,” while adding,  “I waited for God to send me a good man, and he’s a good Southern man.”

The marriage is the second for Vivica Fox who is best known for her role in Independence Day.

Country singer Shania Twain has released several of her wedding photos. Twain married Frederic Thiebaud in a New Year’s Day wedding ceremony on a beach in Rincon, Puerto Rico.

Excitement for the Twain wedding has been building, according to PopCrunch, last month she blogged:

“I’m in love!” while adding, “Frederic Nicolas Thiebaud has been a true gift to me as a compassionate, understanding friend and over time, an amazing love has blossomed from this precious friendship.”

While the wedding is a happy ending for the couple, how they came to be is just plain strange with her ex-husband Mutt Lang and Frederic’s ex-wife Marie-Anne Thiebaud having an affair before their own courtship began.

Big props to Shania for not trying to sell all her wedding photos for millions of dollars, thus cheapening the event in the process.

The couple fell in love on the set of the movie in which Natalie Portman has been nominated for a Golden Globe and is expected to receive an Oscar Nod. It looks like  Black Swan just had all the stars aligning for Portman both on and off screen.

The baby will be the 29-year old Portman’s first child. Not a bad way to ring in the new year if you ask us.

Hugh Hefner, the 84-year old, twice married owner of Playboy has announced that he is engaged to marry Dec 2009 Playboy Playmate Crystal Harris, she’s 24-years-old.

On Christmas day Hefner posted to his Twitter account:

“When I gave Crystal the ring, she burst into tears. This is the happiest Christmas weekend in memory.”

Hefner first divorced in 1959 after 10 years of marriage, then in the late 90′s he separated from another Playmate of the year, Kimberly Conrad, with whom he has two sons. Conrad and Hefner, despite his various girlfriends, didn’t actually divorce until 2010.

When asked a while back if he would wed Holly Madison, he said he wasn’t interested in marriage, telling PEOPLE in 2009:

“It’s unlikely since I haven’t been very successful at it…” 

It’s unclear if he’ll still have a bunch of girlfriends, but our guess is yes.

Singer/Songwriter Jason Mraz has announced that he’s engaged to be be married.

The “Remedy” singer, 33, popped the question to singer/songwriter Tristan Prettyman.

After asking the question Mraz tweeted on Thursday night:

“SHE SAID YES.“

Tristan chimed in with:

For once, I am speechless…..I did good! Holy crap! Man of my dreams!!! For the rest of my life!!!”

It should be a good year for the couple, especially Jason Mraz who will drop his fourth album in 2011.

Shania Twain will marry for the second time, announcing her engagement to Frederic Thiebaud.

Frederic is an executive at Nestle and asked Shania to marry him two months ago according to a snoop for Us Weekly.

Shania’s ex-husband, super producer Mutt Lang left her abruptly in 2008.

According to PopCrunch:

Thiebaud is the ex-husband of Twain’s former best friend Marie-Anne Thiebaud — the woman Shania’s former flame Mutt Lange abruptly left her for in May 2008. Both Mutt and Marie-Anne denied the affair, but in the wake of the alleged betrayal, Shania and Frederic, Marie-Anne’s jilted husband, reached out to each other, bonding over their mutual heartbreak and ultimately falling in love.

According to The Daily Mail, her soon-to-be husband helped design the three-carat emerald cut diamond ring, the cost? Around $100,000.

Shania earlier this year credited her soon-to-be husband with helping her through a trying divorce, she called him:

“A dear friend and true gentleman … We leaned on one another through the ups and downs, taking turns holding each other up. We’ve become stronger and closer through it all.”

Only Hulk Hogan would have a wedding that includes a real life brawl and that’s exactly what happened this week when Hulk Hogan tried to marry his now wife Jennifer McDaniel

According to TMZ the couple-to-be were in the Hulk’s backyard, which sits off a beach in Clearwater when a family employee told a photographer to go on their way, when the photog wouldn’t exit the area a scuffle broke out on the beach, just as the couple were saying their vows.

While police were called, no one pressed charges and the ceremony continued on it’s way to completion.

Foreshadowing for what’s to come? Yeah Probably.
