…If you believe InStyle, that is. For InStyle’s April issue, Emma Roberts wears several white dresses for a fashion shoot. The rack of clothes includes designer labels Bottega Veneta, Calvin Klein, Valentino, and Versace.

The main caption read: “OMG—The new LBD is LWD! And this cool alternative is just as versatile. Emma Roberts shows that embracing white is anything but vanilla.”

The 19-year-old actress has taken the white trend to heart. “I’ve started adding more white to my wardrobe—not just Ts but dressier stuff as well,” she said. “It can look really elegant.”

She spent most of her life flaunting her natural hair color, but now the 18-year-old brunette admits that being a blonde does have its perks.

“Guys check me out more, which is weird,” she told US Weekly. “When I had brown hair, girls would tell me I was pretty all the time, and then with blonde hair, guys tell me I’m pretty a lot. So I really don’t know what that means.”

Although her new ‘do is preparation for her new flick It’s Kind Of A Funny Story coming out in 2010, she said she’d like to keep her new hair for a while, even after filming ends. “I feel happier as a blonde,” she said.

I've always liked the fresh-faced Emma Roberts (niece to Julia, daughter to Eric), of Nickelodeon's Unfabulous and Nancy Drew. Now 17, Emma's been picking colleges, and has it down to two contenders:

"I really loved Sarah Lawrence and NYU....When I got to Sarah Lawrence or NYU, I could really see myself walking around here making friends."

The teen star said, talking about her two choices in New York. Its nice seeing young Hollywood talking about school for a change - and not fashion or parties!!
