After growing his locks to sport a mane fitting for a Persian Prince, Jake Gylenhall is now sporting a new look. A completely shaven head! Yes, it’s all gone! I guess this is a pretty common, but courageous feat for seasoned and determined actors when they decide to jump into a role that can completely bring out the shock factor from their fans. The hunky 30 yr old actor is promoting his new film“ End of Watch” – in which he plays the role of a uniformed cop. Oh, let me rephrase that …  a really sexy uniformed cop! He plays alongside Michael Pena as the story revolves around a long standing friendship between police partners.

I don’t know about you, but I’m definitely digging his new do.  Although he was pretty much bald in Jarhead, I think after filming Prince of Persia  and totally getting all toned and vascular, he seems to just seriously keep evolving in his roles.  The boy is certainly working hard and , err…working out really hard to keep up with his career. Just look at those rippling muscles! He was totally in his game when made Prince of Persia.  His latest film “ Source Code” has done very well in the box office , and undoubtedly solidifies Jake’s status as a very credible action star.

He’s one fine looking man to watch out for indeed! Looking at his girlfriend track record, he seems to have dated a lot of blondes. The latest that being Taylor Swift.  Although they have been rumoured to have split up, the former Broke Back Mountain star doesn’t look broken hearted at all these days. He’s got everything working great and he looks uber great !

Is this an April Fools’ prank? Elle magazine released two covers for their April issue. One features Taylor Swift looking sweet in a sparkling sequined dress, while the other one shows a tough version of the singer wearing a distressed leather jacket.

The interview is actually refreshing and honest, just like the 20-year-old’s music. She’s not trying to be too intellectual or complicated. There’s almost a naïve vibe to her answers. Here’s an excerpt:

On whether she’s really “fearless”: “I over-think everything. I overanalyze everything.”

On one of her biggest fears: “Me making a bunch of bad decisions and embarking on a painful, slow, devastating tailspin.”

Last night’s gathering of entertainers brought out a new trend for red-carpet dressing. Perhaps it’s the 2010 bug where fashionistas are out to challenge the conventional “glam-glam-glam” mantra. Here are my top 10 picks for the Grammy’s best dressed, in no particular order.

As Fergie posed with the rest of the Black Eyed Peas, her cobalt blue Emilio Pucci mini was simply Fergilious.

Miley Cyrus was definitely ready to “Party In The USA” with her teal Hervé Léger by Max Azria dress.

Carrie Underwood sure had a penchant for straps that night. Her Edition by Georges Chakra gown looked great, especially when she received her Best Country Collaboration award.

She was named the upcoming of the year by yours truly. However, the only title she seems to be earning so far this year is clown of the year with her ridiculous makeup and wardrobe choices here. Maybe that is how teenagers roll today. They go around wearing what they believe is cool clothing, only to look back later and realize how outrageous they look.

Most people would consider outrageous to be a good thing, but indeed it isn't. Why else would the word out be in outrageous if it wasn't meant to be a totally ridiculous thing? When something makes perfect sense then you must understand that the likelihood of it being true is actually false.

Oh and she is single now, but would you really want to date her? I mean it is cool to date the goodie goodie girl because behind the scenes they actually turn out to be the freakier girls, but she might actually be the goodie goodie queen. I mean, you would figure the tooth fairy would be a bit rowdier than this chick and believe me, it takes a lot of Patron shots to get the tooth fairy to do what you really want.

I can't tell you the size of the last bar tab we had and she didn't even offer to pay for it. Something about needing the money to put under some kid's pillow or something. Like I would believe anyone had a job like that, what do I look like? The Easter bunny? Stupid tooth fairy.

Sandra Bullock’s fashion choices have always been hit and miss, so I was happy to see her looking fabulous in this nude Vivienne Westwood gown.

That’s how we do beat downs in my town. We make out with the person and therefore all beat downs happen to women. My lips are filled with battle scars from the many scuffles I have gotten into, but when someone wants to talk the noise they gotta be able to back it up. If they can’t, well then you just have to take care of business.

Congrats Taylor on winning an award from Celebrific that has no meaning. You deserve it.

Taylor Swift turned 20 last Sunday.

“It’s more like an end-of-year Christmas party that happens to be on my birthday,” she said. Instead of the predictable A-list party that most celebs do on their birthdays, Swift’s guest list was made up of her closest family and friends, bandmates, and tour crew. She even baked cookies and sweets for everyone.

Swift also donated $250,000 to schools all over the U.S. The money will be used to buy school supplies and fund teachers’ salaries. “Something I wanted to do at the end of this amazing year and especially on my birthday was give back to something I really believe in, which is education,” Swift said. “The schools that I went to and the amazing people I got to learn from really turned me into who I am, and I wanted to give back.”

As for special birthday presents that Swift received, we at Celebrific love her rumored boyfriend Taylor’s Lautner’s stint at SNL, wherein he defends Swift’s honor at a reenactment of the recent MTV Video Music Awards. Yeah, I felt sorry for Gaylord Focker – he was only trying to impress his future in-laws. But what was Kanye trying to do that night, impress Beyonce?

Taylor’s hit “You Belong to Me” won the first moon man of the night, Best Female Video, beating top bets Beyoncé, Katy Perry, and Lady Gaga. Kanye West couldn’t keep his disappointment to himself, so he jumped onstage from the audience, rudely grabbed the microphone from Taylor and said, “Yo, Taylor, I’m really happy for you. I’ll let you finish, but Beyoncé has one of the best videos of all time… one of the best videos of all time!” he said to a stunned audience.

The cameras panned to Beyoncé looking completely shocked in her seat as Kanye displayed his lack of tact. When Kanye handed the mic back to Taylor, she was too hurt and shocked to respond. The audience screamed and booed. To show their support to Taylor, they gave her a standing ovation led by the VIP celebrities in attendance.

People didn’t think twice about defending Taylor. Newbie Justin Bieber, who was the next presenter, uttered: “Taylor Swift deserved that award.” Later in the show, Beyoncé accepted her award for Video Of The Year and called Taylor back to “come out and have her moment.” The audience applauded when she said, “Let’s try this again.”

According to mtv.com, “It was a moment that had many of the artists in the Radio City Music Hall crowd pretty upset.” Celebrity twitters were instantly filled with Kanye-hate.

Yes, “heartless” Kanye was asked to leave Radio City Music Hall after his inexcusable behavior. While he watched the rest of the show in his home, he composed an all-caps apology to Taylor in his blog.
