Last year, R-Pattz fans were disappointed when the SNL peeps said that they couldn’t accommodate the Twilight hunk because they’re “all locked in with the hosts for this year.”

They were also hesitant because they weren’t sure about the 23-year-old’s hosting skills. “And then he did Jimmy’s show and that went well for him,” said Lorne. Check out R-Pattz’s comedy stint and interview with Jimmy Fallon on his Late Night show last month.

It’s officially out today, so Twilight fans are probably in line at the video stores or waiting by their mailbox for the New Moon DVD. Some die-hard fans aren’t exactly excited to watch the movie all over again. They’re in it for the bonus DVD, where they can view behind-the-scenes clips, deleted scenes, never-before-seen red carpet footage, and much more.

Here are some documentary clips that fans are looking forward to watching:

Too many mosquitoes. During that scene in the forest where Edward tells Bella that he will never see her again, there were so many mosquitoes. Director Chris Weitz says he certainly couldn’t show a mosquito landing on a vampire’s nose, “sucking blood from the apparently bloodless Edward,” so they filmed many, many takes.

Shirtless in the cold. Taylor Lautner’s character Jacob supposedly has a temperature of 108 degrees, so he’s not supposed to get cold. A shirtless Taylor had to act like he wasn’t freezing under the rain, but as soon as the director yells “cut!” he would run to warm up under a parka.

Stunt doubles outnumbered the main cast. They were everywhere—getting beat up by Volturi, jumping into a cliff, etc.

One of the biggest teen heartthrobs turned 18 this month and we didn’t even hear anything about it! Why? Well, that’s because he didn’t really celebrate it.

“Absolutely nothing, really. I mean, I’ll spend time with family and friends. I don’t like to do anything huge, but it is 18, so, it’s kind of a big one I guess,” he told Access Hollywood, who gave the Twilight actor a surprise birthday cupcake on February 11th.

No big, wild party for the teen heartthrob? Well, at least we know the whole Hollywood thing isn’t going to his head. Now that he’s 18 and legal, we can ogle at his abs more appropriately.

Last Saturday, during the hype of pre-Super Bowl festivities, celebrities and professional athletes participated in the fourth Annual DIRECTTV Celebrity Flag Football Game on South Beach, Miami. That lucky football!

Taylor Swift turned 20 last Sunday.

“It’s more like an end-of-year Christmas party that happens to be on my birthday,” she said. Instead of the predictable A-list party that most celebs do on their birthdays, Swift’s guest list was made up of her closest family and friends, bandmates, and tour crew. She even baked cookies and sweets for everyone.

Swift also donated $250,000 to schools all over the U.S. The money will be used to buy school supplies and fund teachers’ salaries. “Something I wanted to do at the end of this amazing year and especially on my birthday was give back to something I really believe in, which is education,” Swift said. “The schools that I went to and the amazing people I got to learn from really turned me into who I am, and I wanted to give back.”

As for special birthday presents that Swift received, we at Celebrific love her rumored boyfriend Taylor’s Lautner’s stint at SNL, wherein he defends Swift’s honor at a reenactment of the recent MTV Video Music Awards. The superhero and action figure from Mattel became an animated hit for its kiddie fan base, but executives are taking it up a notch by letting Paramount Pictures produce it for the big screen.

Lautner will play Josh McGrath, an extreme-sports athlete who gets accidentally exposed to nanotechnological machines. The machines’ powers become part of him, thus giving him increased strength and the ability to change his appearance.

It’s going to be a lucrative 2010 for Lautner. Mattel recently announced that they will release a Jacob Black Barbie doll at the same time the New Moon DVD will be released in February 2010.

His movie, Valentine’s Day, opposite rumored girlfriend Taylor Swift will hit theaters on February 14. He will also be busy shooting the third and fourth installments of The Twilight Saga. Talk about a busy schedule!
