A classic example of your sordid past catching up with you, is Russel Brand getting deported from Japan when he came along  to support singer and wife Katy Perry for her Japan tour. Based on the pop star’s tweets , “  So ... my husband just got deported from Japan. I am so. sad. I brought him all this way to show him my favorite place."

Russel Brand, who married Perry in 2010, has been in a number of scuffles with authorities battling with his drug and alcohol addiction.  Having been arrested quite a few times, he has recently had another bout with authorities for allegedly attacking the paparazzi at an  LA airport last year.

No comment or feedback from the singer and her husband as to the reason behind Japanese officials for denying entry to the British actor/comedian. The only words Katy Perry mentioned regarding this, was due to some “priors”.

Brand didn’t same fazed with the incident, as his Twitter page had him posting, “ Planning escape from Japanese custody, It’s bloody hard to dig a tunnel with a chopstick.”

Katy Perry had no choice but to go ahead with her show saying that she still loves her Japanese fans.

Perry and Brand’s marriage skyrocketed them into being one of Hollywood’s high profile couples, even with Russell Brand’s notorious past and criminal history. Quite surprising to know at this point that Katy Perry grew up with parents who are both  evangelical ministers. In an interview for her cover spread in Vanity Fair magazine, the pop singer recalls her childhood with her mother reading the bible to her in place of the usual children’s books.

With her success in the music industry, and carving her own brand of sexy pop music and bold retro revealing outfits, Perry admits that her relationship with her parents now have come to a coexisting crossroad where they no longer try to change each other and all agree to disagree.

She speaks of her relationship with husband Russell Brand as having no dull moment together. Merely laughing at the incident when pics of her minus her usual dolled up face leaked out to the public. Hubby Russell  thought it funny to take a picture of his wife  in bed sans make-up.

And on that note, in case you’re shopping for a celebrity home, Katy Perry and Russell Brand’s Los Feliz home is on the market for a lovely price tag of $3.395 million.
