Rose Byrne – This beautiful Australian actress has been nominated for Golden Globes and Emmys in recognition of her performance on television’s Damages, but she’s also starred in movies ranging from X-Men: First Class to 28 Weeks Later.

Chloe Sevigny – The name Chloe was an alias of the nature goddess Demeter, and it’s Greek for “young green shoot.” This former model specializes in independent films, and she even received a Best Supporting Actress nomination for her role in Boys Don’t Cry.

Rose McGowan – Once engaged to controversial rocker Marilyn Manson, this actress was born in Italy and has appeared in films such as Jawbreaker and Grindhouse. Fans of television’s Charmed will also remember her as Paige Matthews.

Suri Cruise – While she hasn’t appeared in movies or television, this daughter of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes has generated plenty of headlines. Her name is Persian for “rose.”

Daisy Fuentes – Born in Cuba, Fuentes was the first Latina VJ to work for MTV. She has worked extensively as a model and television host.

Rosemary Clooney – A successful singer and actress, the late performer was the aunt of hunky star George Clooney.

Lili Taylor – While she appeared on HBO’s Six Feet Under, Lili is known primarily for her work in independent films. I recommend Factotum and I Shot Andy Warhol.

While this list of 10 celebrities with floral names may not improve your life or help you get a better job, it should make for some interesting conversation the next time you’re having coffee with members of your gardening club. I know she has been on a normal kick for years now, but when I think of Rose I can only imagine the time she was with Marilyn Manson and was the supergoth chick. Now she is the "why did you get plastic surgery on your face" chick, which is only a step above depending on how the surgery worked out. Maybe it wasn't surgery and just too much collagen in the lips, but it wasn't a good look.

I watched her in Nip/Tuck not too long ago and I wanted to like her, but I just couldn't bring myself to it. She has seen better days and hopefully a better day will soon see Rose again. I'm feeling the outfit though so at least she has that going for her. Stockings on a chick always seem to work out when they are on the right body.

Of course that applies to almost anything. Anything and everything, but only usually something always work on the right body.

You really got to give it to the ladies, Rosario Dawson & fellow Grindhouse actress Rose McGowan are beautifully gracing the cover of Rolling Stone magazine.

Damn, these girls are looking hot & steamy this morning!  Sadly, Dawson & McGowan will not be appearing naked & nude in the Grindhouse movies hitting theaters this weekend, but at least we get a little taste, right?

Sluttypants Rose McGowan is being blamed with breaking up Grindhouse director Robert Rodriguez’s 16-year marriage.  Which surprises me not, anyone who would show up to an awards show wearing this with Marilyn Manson by her side is a little lost in the mental department.

McGowan & Rodriguez’s sexy time was infamous among the cast & crew of the movie, as the two would often have private “lunches” together in Robert’s trailer.

When Rodriquez’s wife (& mother to his five children) found out about the extramarital affair, she freaked out & left Robert where his greasy self stood.  Apparently filming for the double feature literally halted for a month as the director’s personal life fell apart.  

Rodriguez and his spouse of 16 years, Elizabeth Avellan, raised five kids and worked together, with Elizabeth serving as his co-producer on “Grindhouse,” “Sin City,” “From Dusk Till Dawn,” “Desperado” and “Spy Kids.”

But the marriage exploded last April when Page Six reported that Rodriguez, 38, had begun a torrid romance with McGowan, the raven-haired, French-Irish minx once engaged to shock rocker Marilyn Manson and previously linked with Kip Pardue, Ahmet Zappa and Men’s Health stud Dave Zinczenko.

“It was the worst-kept secret on the set. They were going off to his trailer, having meals together,” our source said. “Rose thought some of the crew were treating her differently, and the attitude was, like, well what do you expect when you’re [bleeping] the director?”

In “Grindhouse,” Rodriguez’s homage to the cheesy sex-and-violence movies of the 1970s, McGowan plays a stripper who loses her leg and replaces it with a machine gun to battle flesh-eating zombies.

She and Rodriguez first met at Cannes in 2005. But until now the consequences of their shenanigans weren’t fully known. When the director “fell in love with his femme-fatale star . . . he broke up his marriage of 16 years . . . The production had to shut down for a month while he recovered,” Variety reports.

Sluttypants McGowan, seems like that new nickname might be around for a bit, eh?
