Talk about celebrities and two things will usually come to mind — fame and money. We expect celebrities to not just be extremely famous but also swimming in money. I’m sure that you’re mental picture of a celebrity is one that is living the high life – jetsetting all over the globe, enjoying all of the great comforts and buying stuff left and right. It may be the expected profile of a celebrity but you’ll be surprised to know that there are many celebrities out there that actually know what the word “frugality” means and actually apply it in their lives. Nothing seems to stop the pressure to be skinny for one to look good these days. Good ole tinsel town has seen one too many transformations of celebrities that have gone from luscious beauties to just pieces of muscle, skin and bones wrapped in designer clothing.
And although we’re all gung ho about looking healthy, it just leads you to question what does looking beautiful and healthy really mean for these Hollywood celebrities. Does it mean weighing less than 100lbs? Or wearing a size 0? Or getting all those muscles to show on camera?
True enough we’ve seen a lot of these Hollywood women morphing into svelte figures over the years and as short as a month they can just turn into a stick figure with little lady lumps and bumps. Whether roles have forced them to take that extra effort to lose weight or just plain glamour pressure that can be unforgiving for any celebrity whose every bulge and curve gets scrutinized by the public eye.
Well, these women can be real inspirations for us average beings . Knowing that we can transform ourselves into almost any shape and take on a whole new life sans the excess baggage. Then again, not everyone can afford personal trainers, fancy diet food or get into weight loss boot camps. But, we still get to live through our fave celebrities who are just as vulnerable to binging and excess adipose tissue.
Here are some Hollywood Weightloss Wonders :
Renee’ Zellweger – Just amazing how this woman was able to yoyo diet to epitomize the characters she played in her much raved about movies.
Carnie Wilson – Nothing but pure admiration for her courageous decision to undergo gastric bypass after years of just embracing who she is and her many great talents.
Kirstie Alley – now who didn’t just have big love for this woman? Having a gorgeous face and a quirky personality was all she needed that made her a big beautiful woman, that had everyone watch her awesome transformation.
Mariah Carey – post baby bumps and lumps didn’t slow down this diva to get back into top performance shape. However much she admitted to having “some issues” , she certainly pulled through looking like a very hot momma!
Nicole Richie – watching Nicole seriously drop some poundage left many people in shock as she became disturbingly waif. Although she’s now looking much more in normal range of body mass, we all guess momma-hood has brought out the best in her.
Lindsay Lohan – we’ve seen her during her peachy teenage years and having blossomed into a troubled young woman, it’s not surprising that she would go through some weight issues as well. Her nearly stick figure was due to a habit of not eating at all.
Courtney Love – her Celebrity Skin days have long passed and all that’s left is indeed, some celebrity skin on her abdominal area. We don’t really know how she lost weight, but we’ve got a lot of raised eyebrows as to the type of regimen she had subjected herself to lose so much weight.

Renée Gets Her Groove Back

She spent the past few months working on My Own Love Song, a movie about a wheelchair-bound singer named Jane who embarks on a soul-searching journey with her best friend.
Her look for the movie wasn’t too flattering. She sported a plain shoulder-length hairstyle for the entire shoot. Here’s a clip from one of the scenes in My Own Love Song:
Now that filming is over, Renée Zellweger had her hair bleached and cropped. She attended the Tribeca Film Festival in New York with co-stars Forest Whitaker and Madeline Zima to promote her new movie. She looked younger and more hip in her Vera Wang LBD and nude peeptoes.

The number of Hollywood celebrities who are going for the short crop is growing. Last week, Heidi Klum unveiled her bob on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno. Hayden Panettiere and Jennifer Love Hewitt have also joined the bandwagon.

Renee Zellweger OK After Accident

Renee Zellweger was involved in a car accident yesterday in Beverly Hills. Reports say that it was a minor one, however, and that she didn’t get injured. Apparently, another motorist performed an illegal u-turn and hit her car. Lucky her, she got away with nary a scratch.

Kenny Chesney has finally come out of hiding after the controversial annulment of his marriage to Renee Zellweger. Rumors have been going around that the reason was that, let’s say, he leans towards the same sex. In a recent interview, he vehemently denies this and cites a specific number of girls that he has been with throughout his life. So yeah, he’s not gay.

Rene Zellwegger, of Bridget Jones fame, in un-Bridget-like style, got on her high hoss and criticized the likes of Hollywood party girls like Paris Hilton saying that people like Hilton made her angry because of the ways they made “5 bucks” as compared to her saintly “hard work”. Puhleeze. The book was much better before Renee overdid it again.
Kenny Chesney Says He’s Not Gay & Talks About Renee Zellweger Marriage

38-year-old country star Kenny Chesney has finally come clean about his sexuality & his quickie marriage to actress Renee Zellweger.
In an interview with “60 Minutes” Chesney denied & denied & denied rumors about the reason for annulment of his four-month marriage to Renee Zellweger. Ever since the couple split in September 2005, rumors have circulated that Kenny was in fact gay. When Renee filed for the marriage annulment, she actually cited “fraud” as the reason for the break-up, giving many to believe the cowboy swings in the male direction of things.
“It’s not true,” Kenny denied.
“Maybe I should have come out and said no, I’m not (gay), but I didn’t want to draw any more attention to it … I didn’t have to prove to anybody that I wasn’t (gay) … I didn’t feel like I really did.”
Chesney went on to try & explain why Zellweger had chosen the word “fraud” in the annulment paperwork. The country singer said they chose this word due to its ambiguity.
“We thought was the least harmful was fraud ’cause it’s kind of broad, whatever it is. Doesn’t specify. And, boy, didn’t, we were wrong. But, it’s okay. The only fraud that was committed was me thinking that I knew what it was like. That I really understood what it was like to be married, and I really didn’t,” Chesney stated.
Interestingly, Kenny said he does not regret the short marriage to Renee Zellweger & is in fact looking forward to having a husband wife & children one day.

Renee Zellweger did a no-no look with those blonde locks of hers. Zellweger should have just let that haircut go for a few more days when she was a bit more clear-headed, instead the actress has gone for the chopped-off hairdo look & we’re not liking it one little bit.
Pretty soon Renee is set to start filming Leatherheads with none other than former flame & supersexypants George Clooney. I am crossing my fingers that this do is for the film, though I’m pretty seriously doubting it.
And you know, does anyone else feel that damn Starbucks Coffee is paying celebs to buy their coffee so they can get photographed with it so we all will buy their lattes because we want to be stars as well? Just seems like you never see a Hollywoodite without one arm grasping a latte.
