The rumor circulating is that the couple have split. A rep for Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal was quick to respond to the rumor, though, and says that it is NOT true. The couple are very much still together and a split is far from happening. Good for them, right?

Reese Witherspoon has finally spoken on her divorce. She says it is “humiliating and isolating,” but not painful. Her career has not come to a full stop, though, and she is in fact releasing a movie later this month.

Reese Witherspoon, global ambassador for Avon Foundation leads a march for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. She and the other walkers helped raise $8.1 million for breast cancer research.

Jake Gyllenhaal has been taking Heath Ledger’s death really hard. The two became close friends while filming Brokeback Mountain. He’s even godfather to Heath’s daughter, Matilda.

Jake had to take a leave of absence from filming his new movie, Brothers. Co-stars said that he had left the set the moment he heard about the death. Though he did return to shoot another scene, he often sat on the director’s chair, blankly staring into space.

He’s taken a leave of absence from the movie and has been turning to girlfriend Reese Witherspoon for much needed emotional support.
