Come on, Paula.  We know what the 80s were like & you certainly were no stranger to partying.  Paula Adbul saying that she’s never been drunk or used recreational drugs is a mother saying she’s never had sex (except maybe for the Mary lady). 

Abdul’s somewhat spacy behavior on “American Idol” has propmted all of us to wonder what the hell kind of good stuff is Paula on?!   But according to the 44-year-old judge, she’s never even touched alcohol or drugs.

“I’ve never been drunk. I have never done recreational drugs.”

“Just look at my 20-year career. Tell me someone who is into partying or doing drugs that could have done that.”  Umm, Paula, the damn Rolling Stones come to mind, right?  And perhaps Sting, Allman Brothers, Dave Matthews & David Bowie, just to name a few.

“There have been 100 million lies about me,” Abdul reveals.  Paula claims that she’s been taking  prescription medication for her “inflammatory arthritis”, which more than likely translates to “inflammatory drinking binge”.

“I’m squeaky clean. I’ve worked my ass off my entire life. (But) being involved in the show causes people to question everything,” Abdul states.

Well, she does push a convincing case, not!
