SAG Awards: Best in Prints

I’m getting quite tired of the predictable jewel tones and monochrome gowns that the stars usually wear to awards shows and red carpet events. For last Saturday’s SAG Awards, my picks for best dressed were the stars who donned prints and beads.
True Blood’s Anna Paquin strayed away from the dark side with her printed Alexander McQueen dress.
Award presenter Michelle Monaghan sparkled in a one-shoulder gun metal, beaded Calvin Klein gown.
Although I love Meryl Streep’s belted printed gown, I’d do without those sunglasses.
Nicole Kidman (third from left) took a break from her usual monochrome red carpet gowns and slipped into a sequined and embroidered Oscar de la Renta gown. Here, she is onstage with fellow actresses (L-R) Marion Cotillard, Kate Hudson, and Penelope Cruz.
Sandra Bullock not only won Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role for The Blind Side, but also got the fashion police’s nod in this black and blue-trimmed Alexander McQueen gown.

Once Again, I Called It With A Celeb. Nicole Kidman, I Own Your Face

Here is what I said last week about Kidman:
I know I’m talking early-mid 90s type of stuff here, but Nicole Kidman was definitely marriage material back in the day and you could definitely see why the Midget (Tom Cruise) put the ring on the finger. However, now she is just a ghost (oooooo did you catch that innuendo) of her former self.
You honestly can’t tell me she doesn’t look as if she could be married to the Joker in these pics. Penelope Cruz? Hot. Kate Hudson? Boyish chest, but hot. Even Dame Judy Dench pulls it off nicely. Kidman can’t even keep up with a woman that is 105 years older than her, something is wrong with that.
When I saw this pic I figured it was just bad lighting and I was going to give her the benefit of the doubt. Then I saw more pics and I couldn't let this one slide. You pulled a Joker job on us again Nicole. Even The Superficial took my line last week and agrees. It's okay to have a mishap from time to time, but this is back-to-back weeks. Completely unacceptable.
I'm not even sure that is makeup that we are seeing. I think some guy in the limo stuffed a bunch of nose candy in his pants and while she was getting ready to sneeze, her face landed in his lap which just happened to have an open zipper and her face was covered in snow blow.
Because of this she became so high that she didn't even bother to check the mirror to make sure she was ready for the lights and cameras of the red carpet.
You can't quit Scientology, it quits you.

Nicole Kidman is one of the few people who can look absolutely gorgeous in the middle of a difficult pregnancy. Check out her naternity chic. She looks better than most people do even when they’re not pregnant!!!

Nicole Kidman looks absolutely gorgeous. Even if it’s been a difficult pregnancy, she still managed to look serene — even radiant — at the Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas.

Nicole Kidman’s ecstatic about being pregnant. But it hasn’t been easy. Now, the actress reports “severe morning sickness.” She also admitted that she is wondering if it will get even more difficult as the months progress, though she is by no means complaining. “[I'm] good actually, really good. Waiting for the third trimester,” she said. “Everyone says that is hard work.”

You can say what you like about Tom Cruise – his nutty sofa antics, strange marriage, fervent beliefs etc, but when it comes to parenting, all evidence points to the fact that Tom has been doing a pretty decent job as a parent. And its not just to mini-paparazzi darling Suri. Don’t forget that Tom has two adopted kids with ex Nicole Kidman, Connor and Isabella, now entering their teens.
Nick, on the other hand, has been getting the bad rap when it comes to parenting, with numerous reports saying things like Nicole has a “strained” relationship with her kids, doesn’t spend enough time with the, and worst, they don’t even call her “Mum”.

An aide to Nicole Kidman insists the star is NOT pregnant!! Despite speculation and rumors that Nicole and hubby, fellow Aussie Keith Urban announced the happy news to their families over the Christmas holiday, Nicole confirmed to the UK paper, the Daily Mirror the news that NO, a baby was most definitely not on the way.

Nicole Kidman testified against the “stalkarazzi” that nearly gave her a nervous breakdown. The actres told the New South Wales Supreme Court that Jamie Fawcett tailed her while she was driving to dinner at her parents. His “questionable driving manouvers” reduced her to tears and a cold panic. He also followed her on her Tahiti honeymoon with Keith Urban. Now, she won’t go out without security, and feels “I don’t feel equipped to handle things.â€
Hey, Jamie, leave the poor girl alone.

The one thing that really stands out in this picture is that Nicole Kidman is starting to look a little bit like Melanie Griffith, and that’s not a very good thing. Maybe it was just the angle, let’s hope anyway.
Kidman & her country hubby Keith Urban were spotted enjoying a spot of Australian football in Sydney on Sunday. The pair looked relaxed & enjoyed snuggling up during the dull parts, which would have been the whole game had it been me!

So, we’re been down this road before, but maybe this time there is some proof.
HollyScoop is reporting that Nicole Kidman is pregnant. Apparently after some months of fertility treatment, Kidman & junkie hubby Keith Urban are expecting their first child together.Â
“Nicole and Keith are having a baby,” revealed a friend.
“They’ve been riding on clouds since they got the news. Nicole’s been hoping for this since the day they got married. Everyone knows how she’s been aching to have a baby. It’s all she’s been talking about for ages.”
Well, here’s hoping that the news is true and that Kidman & Urban have a healthy baby coming along the way soon!

Lovely actress Nicole Kidman & her country star husband Keith Urban were recently spotted at the beach picking their respective wedgies. Â
Maybe the couple that picks their wedgies together, stays together? We can only hope, but it looks more likely that Kidman & Urban found a nice place in the sand to take a rest & had to deal with the clinging sand after they stood up. The couple should have just parked their famous booties in the ocean for a while, though that would have made an even sillier picture.
