Heiress Paris Hilton reportedly upset officials while prancing around in a bikini in Dubai. The young star was apparently filming a new season of her My New BFF reality show when she decided to flaunt around virtually naked, despite the strict cultural laws. In the United Arab Emirates, both inhabitants and tourists are expected to dress modestly and ladies are supposed to cover up from at least the shoulders to the knees. TV producers apparently banned her from wearing skimpy clothing, warning her she could face arrest, but the star was thought not to listen. When travelling to a different county it is essential to check out the dress code before you travel to save causing offence or getting in unnecessary trouble.

The $5  white and red  rubber bands, whose sales and profits were supposedly promised by the singer to benefit the victims of  Japan’s earthquake, are now in question through allegations of  Michigan legal network, 1800 LAWFIRM. The law firm is also pinning charges on account of “artificially inflated reports of total donations” as well as overcharging buyers on shipping costs.

This entire lawsuit comes in the wake of reports that federal racketeering and consumer protection laws were being broken through deceptive advertising as well as misappropriation of profits from the sales of the wristbands.

The 25 yr. old singer’s official website does show a significant number of comments from fans who have expressed their disappointment on  the long delivery as well as shipping and handling costs  of more than the price of the said wristbands.  The lawsuit filed against the pop diva aims to shed light on any improprieties and ensure that the singer and her partnering companies appropriate the full donations to their  promised beneficiaries.

Steffani Germonatta, or also known in pop music as Lady Gaga herself – graced the pages of Forbes magazine  as the most powerful celebrity in the world.  She is currently doing her “Born this Way”  benefit concert tour in Japan. Sales from the rubber bracelets along with other marketing ventures have been reportedly donated to the earthquake victims totalling a whopping donation of $3 million.

Most celebrities like to dress down when they hit the airport. Remember the days when the likes of Paris Hilton would go to the airport dressed in pajamas with a pillow in tow? They’ve had a long day, and they can’t wait to sleep it off in the plane.

Not Lady Gaga. She arrived at Narita International Airport in Chiba-prefecture, Japan yesterday dressed in this out-of-this-world outfit. She matched her leather gloves with black platform boots that must’ve given her eight extra inches in height.

After weeks of non-stop tours, guest appearances, and performances, I don’t know how she was able to keep her balance on those sky-high boots. Even supermodels Naomi Campbell and Aggy Deyn tripped on the catwalk wearing runway shoes that are as high as Lady Gaga’s.

It looks like she’s channeled her inner kawaii-ness for her Japanese audience. Check out the Japanese scribbles on her left arm. She must’ve been bored en route to Japan and borrowed a flight attendant’s pen. According to online sources, it translates to: “I Love small monster, Tokyo Love.” She also wrote the same message on her white Hermes tote.

Lady Gaga’s ex-boyfriend and former collaborator Rob Fusari is another one for the books. The songwriter/producer filed a $30-million case against Gaga, claiming that he was responsible for discovering Lady Gaga. He claims to hold responsibility for shaping and nurturing her sound and persona, only to have her abandon him and cut him out of her lucrative recording career once she became successful. According to Advertising Age, there are at least nine different brands appearing in the video. But despite the cornucopia of products, only a handful of brands paid for placements, Lady Gaga’s manager Troy Carter told Advertising Age. Among them are Miracle Whip and Virgin Mobile. The rest were simply given free airtime as thanks for a good partnership with Lady Gaga’s previous shows and projects.

2. The Youtube video has gained over 14,000,000 hits since it came out last week. Enough said.

3. Sexiness is all over the place—from the bra-flashing guards to the sexy jailbirds dressed in bondage attire.

4. Violence is all over the place—from fighting inmates to a poisoning spree.

5. Lady Gaga addresses the hermaphrodite issue. In one scene, the busty lady guards strip an already braless Gaga down to her bare essentials. One of them quips, “I told you she didn’t have a d—k.”

6. Gaga makes out with a girl—but then again, everybody does that these days.

7. Beyoncé is in it, and she was very, very naughty. Although I believe Lady Gaga could’ve done her magic on her own, Beyoncé’s role was interesting. She played the ruthless Honey B, who bailed Gaga out of jail so that they could go on a sexy, killing rampage.

8. Quentin Tarantino lent his bright yellow Chevrolet Silverado SS—a.k.a. The Pussy Wagon, the truck that the bride drives in Kill Bill: Volume 1. Beyoncé and Lady Gaga look much better driving that truck.

9. It has a lot of PG lines, such as the part where Beyonce’s ruthless character tells the guy she killed: “I knew you’d take all of my honey, you selfish motherf*****.”

10. The end of the video flashes “to be continued,” which means we’ll definitely see more of Jonas Akerlund’s creative Gaga genius.

11. MTV banned the video. Yes, sir, the famous music video network found the mini movie-cum-music video too provocative and controversial. I wonder if it has anything to do with Lady Gaga’s team choosing E! as the official channel where they premiered the video. According to reports, other music channels may also ban the video from being aired. Who cares? We still have Youtube.

Last Saturday, we spotted Lady Gaga in Mr. Chow’s Restaurant at 1:15am (and still kicking!) for a private celebration party for her tour team. They had just finished the second of two performance dates at the O2 Arena in London.

She was wearing a clear latex costume accessorized with a silver lobster headpiece and a chicken claw around her wrist. Don’t worry, PETA, they’re all fake!

Jennifer Love Hewitt of The Ghost Whisperer played dress-up last February 21st to celebrate her 31st birthday. Although Gaga’s success is way ahead of Ke$ha’s (and yes, her name is spelled with a dollar sign), fans and critics are guessing that Ke$ha could be the one to dethrone Lady Gaga.

This week’s Billboard’s Pop Songs radio airplay chart gave Ke$ha fans something to smile about. Ke$ha’s debut hit “TiK ToK” took the #1 spot from Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance,” which is now #2. Heads up, Gaga!

Who do you like better?

I wish I had some other reason for posting a pic of Lady GaGa from her Elle magazine photoshoot, but I don’t. Really I don’t. I like her music and you can’t say she isn’t talented. She is a pop culture icon now because she is so weird. No other reason. Her weirdness is somewhat addicting, but to the point where you don’t get obsessed with it. There has to be a name for this phenomenon. Someone look it up for me.

To help summarize what I am saying, it’s like cheering for an ugly person to win a race, but if they don’t win it doesn’t matter to you. You just feel good cheering for them. You want Lady GaGa to make it big for being weird because then it almost justifies you being weird for a little bit in your life.

If the ugly person wins the race you start to feel like you can win the race just because you look better than them. No other reason. Just that. Amazing how it works and that is why it is a phenomenon. If anything we can call it the Celebrific Corally. Nope that isn’t a word and I didn’t misspell it.

The book, written by Cricket Casey, is about an 11-year-old boy who confronts good and evil in Central Park. According to NY Post, the book comes with a CD that contains seven inspirational songs. The musical extravaganza catered to all types of fans. R&B/hip-hop lovers grooved to the tunes of Ne-Yo, Flo-Rida, Janet Jackson, and Dizzee Rascal. Boy band hysterics partied like it’s 1999 with Westlife and the Backstreet Boys. The Sugababes, JLS, and Pixie Lott showed off their UK flair with their latest hits. The Noisettes and Metro Station added some rock flavor to the scene.

The event’s showstoppers were the sexy popstars who dressed like it’s the last day of 2009. Lady Gaga is a talented artist who deserves all the fame and fortune she is receiving. Just because she is a bit out there, much of the public choose to hate on her and I feel that is unfair. From certain angles she does have manly features, but you know how many men would put out if she was offering? All the GAY men would because they love it when other men hit on them.

I’m not saying Lady Gaga is a man because again, I am above such childish things. I know many women that where a permanent strap-ons to help them feel more secure about themselves. It’s a great weapon when you are in a tight spot. Like in between a woman’s legs.
