At first Rachel thought Brad just wanted a little “work-life balance” – more time with his boyfriend, his dog, his designer clothes, who knows. But after a group hug and several PR statements, she found out that he was calling her clients and “schmoozing” at events.  Guess Brad’s found new people to hang around with (sorry, Rodger and Rachel).

So that’s the second assistant that Rachel’s lost. We all know what happened to Taylor, and all that hullabaloo about a stolen dress. (Taytay continues to deny filching anything from the designer racks, which are filled with model sizes—and how the hell would she fit into those?)

Well it may help if Rachel were more supportive of her assistant’s careers. Anyone with brains and a smidgen of talent would eventually get bored just following her orders and smiling at the camera. It’s not like they went into the fashion business for the chance to pick up and return gowns.  Sometimes, they just want to be carefree and half-naked!

But if all Rachel wants from an assisant is no brains, just  a desire to mooch off someone’s popularity and play up on scandal and intrigue to stretch her 15 minutes of fame, we’ve found someone for her!  Rumor has it that Kate Gosselin’s looking for another gig. And we all know about Kate’s incredible taste in clothes.

Kate Gosselin is “freaking out” after her show, Kate + 8, was cancelled by TLC. “Will my family be okay?”

Was her family ever okay? The kids have been living in a fishbowl for six years. Their parents dysfunctional marriage, messy divorce, and their father’s affairs were conveniently hyped up to boost ratings. And then they had to watch their mother on Dancing with the Stars—though Gosselin was hardly “dancing” and she was never a “star,” so what was up with that?!

Maybe it was her exceptional style and crowd-pleasing smile.

OR NOT.

Gosselin plans to be a “motivational speaker,” where she will no doubt wow the audience on her knowledge on topics like “How to make money off your kids” and “Get in touch with your inner controlling bitch.” Luckily, Gosselin’s got a lot of people who believe in her, like Jimmy Kimmel. “Why not? She’s already motivated millions of people to not have kids."

With any luck, she’ll earn enough to pay for her kids’ therapy. It may mean a little penny pinching – now that she can’t charge her family vacations, designer clothes, and hair cuts to the show’s production budget – but that’s reality for you.

Somebody finally put her out of her misery! The famous reality TV star and mother of eight kissed Dancing With The Stars goodbye this week.

“You are one tough cookie and you are no quitter,” judge Carrie Ann Inaba told Kate. A tearful Kate replied, “To [my] fans, thank you for believing in me more than I believed in myself.”

This week’s theme was “Movie Night.” Kate and her dancing partner Tony Dovolani did the foxtrot to “Don’t You Forget About Me” from The Breakfast Club. As usual, she did not deliver. They were this week's low scorers, with a 15, and the voters finally agreed with the judges.

I can’t say I’m sad to see her go. The woman cannot dance if her life depended on it. In this case, it actually kind of did. Kate is facing a custody battle with her estranged husband Jon, who reportedly doesn’t have a lucrative job to support their eight children.

Unfortunately for Kate, dancing is not her cup of tea. At all.

Let us please finally get her stiff foot-popping routines out of our heads. It’s time to go back to your element, Kate, and that's reality TV.

Wow, the competition for reality TV fame is getting tougher. Having too many kids in your household is no longer a cool, new concept. TLC now has the Carpio Family Project, a reality show about a New York City couple with 18-month sextuplets in addition to an 8-year-old son, and Quintuplet Surprise, another reality show about a young Texas couple with five newborns and a 6-year-old daughter. That makes Jon & Kate Plus 8 ancient history.

Kate Gosselin must be worried. Sure, she’s still in the running in Dancing With The Stars, but her dancing skills are telling us she won’t be there for long. However, TLC has Kate to thank for the show’s increase in ratings. It must be her, um, fancy footwork that keeps viewers glued to DWTS.

According to Entertainment Weekly, TLC is keeping the mother-of-eight by giving her a new reality show, Twist of Kate. The show will follow Kate as she travels around the US to meet families with challenges at work or at home and attempt to “walk a mile in their shoes.” Well, that’s so much better than seeing her bicker with Jon or watching her do the cha-cha-cha.
