Joaquin Phoenix is Back

…And he’s clean and shaven! Remember how he shocked fans when he announced that he wanted to quit acting in order to become a rapper? He grew a shaggy ‘do and a scruffy beard, and started acting so weird that people thought he was just putting up an act.
It’s been almost a year and it’s so nice to see that he’s back with a cleaner image. He was recently part of a project for TWLOHA (To Write Love on Her Arms), a suicide-prevention charity. In the video, he is joined by TWLOHA founder Jamie Tworkowski and fellow celebrities Miley Cyrus and Liv Tyler.

Sometimes you can't understand why people do the things they do and for Joaquin Phoenix to retire from acting (which he was excellent at, by the way) to embark on a career as a rapper...I am at a loss for words.
