He may not look old enough to be one, but Jim Carrey is now a proud grandfather. Last Friday the 48-year-old actor tweeted: “Jackson Riley Santana, My Grandson, Born today! This is what 7lbs.11oz. of Calfornia dynomite looks like! %^> http://twitpic.com/15liwi”

The link shows a photo of a sleeping baby boy wrapped in a blanket while wearing a beanie. How cute!

Jackson Riley was born in Los Angeles to Jane Carrey Santana, Jim’s one and only daughter from his first marriage to Melissa Womer.

It just goes to show that just because you can make the whole world laugh, it does not mean that you are immune to the blues. Jim Carrey has revealed that he has been battling with depression and the use of anti-depressants. Though he acknowledges the usefulness of these medications, he also says that they do not seem to get to the root of his emotional problems. Here’s to hoping that he does not get the blues this Christmas.

The couple, who have been together for over a year now, were spotted living it up in Hawaii recently.   And it looks like maybe wedding bells in their future might be sounding, as Jenny was spotted wearing a ring on her wedding finger.  Could this be the third for Carrey & the second for McCarthy after all?
