Few people in the entertainment industry have had as long and as influential a career as Oprah Winfrey. Her show has been nationally aired since 1986, her support for Barack Obama was significant enough to be considered a contributor to his Presidency and her fortune weighs up in its billions.

Kim Kardashian

Though Kim hasn't really done a great deal of note or been around for that much time, she has suddenly propelled herself into more celebrity magazine shots than Marilyn Monroe. With 37.5 million results showing up in Google, clearly she's one of the entertainment industry's most influential celebs right now.

Rihanna

Like Kim, Rhianna has also thundered to the top of the pile when it comes to paparazzi attention of late. While she's definitely got the musical success to back this up, it's probably fair to say that some of the attention comes more as a result of her personal life than her music.

Not really much of an obvious choice, however, as well as a career in music and film, she has also recently been confirmed to return next year as one of the judges of American Idol. She's also been linked with a role in Glee, so expect J.Lo's influence to rocket over the next year or so.

David Letterman

Surely a no brainer. David Letterman's show has been going since before the Cretaceous period and his show has been watched by more people than the moon landing. If that's not enough, appearances on The Late Show with David Letterman have been enough to make careers skyrocket.

J.Lo attended the London premiere of The Back-up Plan on Wednesday night at Leicester Square wearing a stunning one-shoulder leather number from the Lanvin Spring 2010 collection. But that wasn’t the only thing that got everyone’s attention—it was her beehive hairdo, which people are now comparing to singer Amy Winehouse and reality TV star Snooki.

My vote goes to Jennifer Lopez! Amy Winehouse’s beehive ‘do, which was cool when she was starting out, now needs a major revamp. Snooki, in the meantime, looks like a washed-up TV star with her permanent ’90s-looking beehive. J.Lo’s red carpet updo has a more glamorous runway vibe to it.

Meet the newest doggie sensation—Nubbins! This adorable Boston Terrier plays J.Lo’s character Zoe’s disabled dog named Nuts in The Back-up Plan. Both attended the movie premiere at the Regency Village Theatre on Wednesday in Westwood, California.

Although Jennifer Lopez looked hot in her silver Gianfranco Ferré dress with matching satin Ferragamo shoes, Nubbins the dog stole the show from the 40-year-old actress/singer.

Attendees and onlookers kept gushing at Nubbins. Who could blame them? Bring any sunflower decked and wheelchair bound dog to any red carpet event and he’s sure to be the center of attention. Nubbins himself didn’t mind the constant flashing of cameras.

Don’t worry; Nubbins isn’t really handicapped. He’s one of three rescued Boston Terriers who were rigorously trained to act for movies and TV shows. Read more about Nubbins here.

Spring is coming! Rachel McAdams’ pastel-patterned Elie Saab Haute couture gown took the attention away from the dark, monochrome hues of the lingering Winter season.

The 40-year-old singer/actress still has her famous curves. J.Lo flaunted them in this Armani Privé gown with a dramatic train, Ferragamo pumps, and Cartier diamonds.

I’m not usually a fan of celebs who wear black in the red carpet, because it’s such a safe, cliché choice, but Carey Mulligan made me do a 360 with her black Swarovski-encrusted Prada.

It’s great to see actresses stay away from solid-hued dresses for change. Maggie Gyllenhaal, who was nominated for Best Supporting Actress, wore a brushstroke-print Dries Van Noten gown accessorized with vintage Fred Leighton jewels.

Cameron Diaz opted for old Hollywood glamour in this Oscar de la Renta gown matched with Cartier jewels.

Presenter Kristen Stewart surprised red carpet critics with her feminine custom-made dress. This Monique Lhuillier navy trumpet gown was a refreshing change from Kristen’s usually boyish/rocker outfits.

Ruffled would be an understatement for Vera Formiga’s choice of gown. The Best Supporting Actress nominee’s Marchesa gown stood out from the crowd.

Diane Kruger was Chanel’s muse that night. Her ruffled Chanel Haute Couture Collection gown accessorized with Chanel jewelry gave her look a vintage vibe.

I loved Best Supporting Actress nominee Anna Kendrick’s flow-y Elie Saabe Couture gown. She accessorized well with her Judith Leiber clutch and Kwiat diamonds.

Elizabeth Banks’ glamorous gown was no gray area. Her sparkling Fred Leighton jewelry looked great with her ruffled Versace number.

Demi Moore’s fashion choices are usually hit-or-miss. What a relief to see that this night was a hit. Her Atelier Versace gown flaunted her fab figure.

How fitting that she sang her new song “Starting Over” at last weekend’s SNL stint. Jennifer Lopez recently severed her ties with Sony Records, the record label that represented her music for the past 10 years.

“[J.Lo] insisted it was a mutual decision, but record executives were rumored to be unhappy with the commercial response to her latest singles ‘Louboutins’ and ‘Fresh Out Of The Oven’,” reports Daily Mail.

I don’t blame them; I just listened to the three tracks and I’m not buying them on iTunes. She needs something that parallels the success of her album This Is Me… Then in 2002. If a new record label can help her with that, then go do it, J.Lo!

What a night it was for Jennifer Lopez. Not only was she the guest musical performer for NBC’s Saturday Night Live, she was also the host and guest comedienne.

She impersonated R&B singer Rihanna in a spoof of the charity single “We Are The World.” Other comedians dressed as Willie Nelson, Shakira, Lady Gaga and Gwen Stefani for the hilarious number.

J.Lo also took part in several skits, including a Spanish soap opera where she played a naughty nun. She even took a jab at her own personal life when she sang about ex-boyfriend Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, referring to his butler: “He was the ‘fella who held the umbrella for P. Diddy…”

Seriously, doesn’t this piss you off a little bit? We all want to love Jennifer, but then she pulls stunts like she did on New Year’s and it makes us not want to love her anymore. Now we get to see this type of outfit in the middle of January for no apparent reason at some floozy party. You ripped us off Jennifer and now we are all expecting nude pics.

This is not a joke. Stop making movies and albums. Focus on your nude modeling. That is where you have always excelled. What? You never did it before? Well I imagined and I see it working out very, very well for you and I am a person that should be trusted.

She had the number #1 album and number #1 movie in the same week. She was all over the place. Then she married Skeletor, had some kids and basically dropped off the cool person’s map.

Now she is trying to make a comeback and although she is still a beautiful woman, I’m not sure she knows what she is doing with regards to fashion. I think she is trying too hard to push the envelope and just can’t pull it off like Lady Gaga. When did she wear this outfit? On New Year’s Eve of course with the whole world watching. It makes perfect sense.

If you ever wish to make a splash back on the scene you do it on New Year’s Eve, in New York, on national television and in a skin tight outfit. I mean haven’t we seen others do the exact same steps and benefit? We haven’t? Oh well then it makes perfect sense as something you just don’t do. Ever. Like ever ever. Even when you are desperate.

I can’t even give her a WTF cowboy on this one because it is so ridiculous and I always give out WTF cowboys. I give them out as if I were going out of style and trying to make a comeback. Giddy up horsey.

Now that she’s already dished out the singing goods for a Russian billionaire for a cool $1.2 million, Jennifer Lopez doesn’t seem to mind who she performs for these days, as long as they’re all paying customers.  Well, I guess J. Lo has to support her man Marc Anthony somehow….

Lopez was spotted Friday performing a crowd pleasing concert for the Wal-Mart shareholders meeting in Fayetteville, Arkansas.  Who knew that J. Lo even supported the world’s largest retailer.  But anything for a buck, right Jen?

She works hard for the money….Jennifer Lopez, singer/dancer/actress was spotted out & about in New York City Wednesday with her leach of a husband Marc Anthony.

It’s been recently reported that J. Lo will become a producer for the Spanish-language network Univison.  The couple were spotted stopping by Time Warner Center where they talked business about her new miniseries Como Ama Una Mujer or How a Woman Loves.

This should be an interesting chapter in Lopez’s life….
