Want a sure-fire way to sell your magazine these days? Get a few minutes with Justin Bieber. People is the latest magazine to do a story on the teen sensation, and this time they went all the way by making him their cover boy.

For this week’s issue, the title “All About Justin Bieber” says it all. Writer Joey Bartolomeo’s story tries to make sense of “how Justin Bieber grew from YouTube sensation to the biggest pop star on the planet—all by the time he hit 16!”

For non-gushing teens and tweens, there are other stories worthy of your attention. There’s the one on Jennifer Hudson, spokesperson of Weight Watchers, and how she managed to trim down to a size smaller than her pre-baby weight. There’s an article on country singer Kenny Chesney and his year off the entertainment ‘biz. Then there’s a sexy photo shoot and interview with Dancing With The Stars couple Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Erin Andrews.

She’s lost more than her pregnancy weight. The Dreamgirls star shed a lot of pounds, thanks to Weight Watchers, of which she is now the new spokesperson.

She revealed her new svelte figure at the debut of her national advertising campaign with Weight Watchers at the Glass Houses yesterday in New York City.

“I am enjoying the weight loss because I’m doing it the right way. I feel empowered with what I’ve learned, everything from portion control to what foods will help keep me satisfied. It’s a lifestyle change, not a diet,” she said in a statement.

According to AP, Jennifer’s lifestyle change has even rubbed off on her fiancé, David Otunga, who has recently been wrestling for World Wrestling Entertainment.

“Now he's in the habit of writing down what he’s eating,” she said. “He’s doing weigh-ins,” she said. “He’s super healthy, and he’s a bodybuilder type, but he is inspired by it.”

Former American Idol contender Jennifer Hudson has given birth to her first child. Named David Daniel Otunga Jr, the baby is Jennifer's child with fiance actor David Otunga. May this be a sign of more good things to come!

I never had an inkling! And to think that she is 7 months pregnant! Well, Jennifer Hudson is another girl who seems to have everything going for her now...congratulations to her and fiance David Otunga!

So is canned music the in thing these days? I understand that the musicians who performed during Obama’s inauguration had to record the music because of the weather’s effects on the instruments but did Jennifer Hudson have to lip sync to the national anthem during the Superbowl as well? Oh, and I don’t think she was paid for that performance either.

…at the Superbowl no less! It’s a good thing for this diva, who has had a horrendous past few months with the murder of those closest to her. Wishing her all the best!

In efforts to retrieve her nephew, Hudson has offered a $100,000 reward for any information that would lead to his recovery.

Oscar winner Hudson went back home to Chicago Tuesday where Mayor Richard Daley named March 6 Jennifer Hudson Day.  I wonder if she got the key to the city…..  Earlier on Tuesday Hudson visited her alma mater, Dunbar Vocational Career Academy, where she told the students, “If you can see it, you can achieve it. Don’t let anybody tell you what you can or cannot do.”

Good advice, if you’ve got a killer voice that is.  Looking forward to celebrating Jennifer Hudson Day next year, wonder what we should do…….
