While still serving a 3-year probation sentence for a 2008 reckless driving and DUI charge, Heather Locklear has been arrested in connection with a hit-and-run car crash near her L.A. home.

The incident happened after a BMW owned by Locklear mowed down a no parking sign near the 48 year old former Melrose Place star’s home in a posh gated community in Westlake Village, California at about 4am. Saturday morning. The vehicle then left the scene of the crash, but Police have gathered derbis tying the incident to Locklear’s black BMW.

TMZ has reported that security cameras on the property filmed a black BMW in the complex with damage and upon arriving at Locklears home, confirmed that it was her vehicle.

Locklear was arrested for hit-and-run but was not taken into custody since the charges are a misdemeanor. However, even though the vehicle was registered to her, a police investigation is underway to determine if she was the driver of the vehicle at the time of the crash.

Heather Locklear is scheduled to appear in court on May 17.

According to reports, Heather Locklear is going to be formally charged for her Driving Under the Influence arrest last September.

Turns out Heather Locklear wasn’t driving under influence… she was a victim of a papparazzi who clearly had ill intentions.

The 911 caller, Jill Ishkanian, wasa former Us Weekly employee who hacked into the computer system to get information on celebs.

Are we looking at Hollywood’s new celebrity trainwreck? Heather Locklear was arrested on DUI charges and was described as “disoriented” (a nice way of saying ‘completely zonked out and talking crazy.’)

Earlier this year the actress had checked herself into a clinic for depression. Guess that didn’t work very well.

On Saturday night, the Ventura County’s Sheriff’s department said that a suicide call was placed allegedly from Heather Locklear‘s home.

The sexy 46-year-old denied that anything happened at all, her rep saying that Heather was fine and nobody in her household ever placed the call. And when the paramedics arrived at Heather’s house, it seemed true indeed.

Okay, I was a little suspicious of the Heather Locklear hookup, she was going through a hard time, you know.
