Are you lost, Becks? Apparently not. Football star David Beckham (right) is still recuperating from his torn Achilles tendon from last month’s AC Milan game, so he’s taking a break from the field.

Who says a footballer can’t enjoy some courtside fun? We spotted him watching a basketball game between the LA Lakers and Portland Trailblazers at the Staples Center in Los Angeles last Sunday. With him at the courtside was celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay. They even got the star treatment when Kobe Bryant and his buddies had a little chat with the two celebrity fans before the game started.

Becks has been a fan of the Lakers ever since he moved to California three years ago. It’s too bad the Trailblazers beat the defending NBA champs, 91-88 that day.

What a change from the usually ripped and strong footballer we see on the field! David Beckham tore his Achilles tendon during the closing minutes of AC Milan’s 1-0 win over Chievo Verona on March 14.

A few days after the accident, photographers spotted him getting into a vehicle as he leaves the Mehilainen private hospital in Turku, Finland. The former England captain had surgery for his torn Achilles' tendon, and his surgeon Sakari Orava said it would keep him sidelined for about six months.

What would the team do without Becks?

Now we know what can make a tough footballer cry.

During the closing minutes of AC Milan’s 1-0 win over Chievo Verona on Sunday, David Beckham tore his Achilles tendon while he was on the field. In tears, he hopped over to the sideline for medical attention.

“The doctor said the tendon’s a little bit torn but we don’t know if it's completely broken or just partially,” specialist surgeon Dr. Sakari Orava said. “Very much depends on how much has been torn and exactly where... It will have a big impact on the final result and when the person is ready to train hard.”

On Monday morning, he caught a plane to Finland for surgery. And yes, he will miss the World Cup. Double ouch!

It isn’t just for Haiti relief; a lot of celebrities have been reaching out to the needy lately. Among them is power couple David and Victoria Beckham. The duo has designed t-shirts for Sport Relief, an organization that helps disadvantaged people all over the world.

“Victoria and I are excited to be involved with Sport Relief again this year,” David said in an official statement. “Our family had a great time designing the t-shirt range and we hope it will raise much-needed funds for many important causes. The most important thing is that the money raised will make a genuine difference to people’s lives.”

The shirt Becks is wearing costs about $16. Would you buy one? About half of what you’ll pay for will go to charity.

At the MLS Western Conference Championship soccer match in Carson, California last Friday, David Beckham sported what may be described as a partial Mohawk.

The trio, with 4-year-old Romeo in tow, were seen scouting out the area for a spot of lunch & some good shopping fun.  Hilariously, Victoria was also trying to give a shout out to family friend Tom Cruise, as she had her tank top embroidered with Jerry Maguire catchphrase, ”Show me the money.”

Becks was spotted getting his caffeine fix on at a Los Angeles coffee shop before he headed out to his first Galaxy training session at the Home Depot center.  David drove Posh’s handsome Bentley on his 15-mile trip to Carson, California.

With the big move this week for David & wife Victoria Beckham to the U.S., I am beginning to wonder if this is such a good idea after all.

WTF?  After seeing Victoria Posh Beckham on the city streets getting prepared for the debut of her reality TV show, it looks like the wife of soccer star David Beckham is backing out of the deal.

Victoria has reportedly backed out of the reality TV show with NBC which was to cover the family’s move from the UK to the States.

According to reports, the diva soccer wife is saying that family comes before fame.   

A source was quoted as saying that “the TV series was a great launchpad for her career … but she felt she was being pushed into a corner and David was obviously always going to take priority.”

Ummm, so, Posh can’t have her own job, I mean besides the one where she walks the streets with nipples blaring?

Well, it looks like the truth has finally come out, Victoria Posh Beckham is one big meanie.  According to an NBC insider, she is arrogant & very difficult to work with.

As NBC chronicles David & wife Victoria Beckham’s move from the UK to the US, the network is finding out what a grade A bitch the woman really is.

Here’s the insider now, “We think she’s full of herself and not very nice. She’s very picky, demanding and rude. And she was mean to the assistants, too.

“She waltzes around with her icy attitude. People will walk up to her and say, ‘Welcome to America’, or, ‘Good luck with the move’, and she doesn’t even stop to talk to them.

“The show is designed to make her a star in the States, but she’s dreaming if she thinks that’s going to happen. She’s coming off as a grade-A bitch!’ It is also alleged the show’s nervous producers are worried the series will be boring and a major flop.

“No one knows what to do with her to make the show interesting – she’s so boring! Every suggestion the producers make, she rejects.”

Okay, so I have an idea for the show.  Have someone confront her about her bitchy ways & see how she reacts.  Then schedule sessions with a bitch counselor.  I think it may just work.  What do you think?

Recently soccer star David Beckham was spotted at London’s NOBU having a nice dinner with wife Victoria Posh Beckham.

But while the newly blonde Victoria was going without, David was enjoying his meal AS WELL AS some rubbernecking stares at fellow dinner, model Kelly Killoren Bensimon. 

According to one witness, David just could not keep his eyes off the model, saying, ”Beckham was straining his neck to check Kelly out the entire time. Everyone at her table was commenting on it.”

“Finally, Posh got up and left, and she barely ate anything.”

And of course, a rep for the Beckhams was a little to quick to comment, ”If David was checking anyone out, it was his wife.”

Yeah, right.  Checking Victoria out is like checking out a fire extinguisher, you look to make sure it’s there for emergency purposes, but other than that you never think twice about it.  Don’t you agree?

Beckham, who recently signed a $250 million contract with the Los Angeles Galaxy was hurt when he ran into a sign while playing a soccer game at home against Getafe.

The 31-year-old star tried to continue to play after the incident, but soon limped off the field much to the chagrin of his fans.  Apparently you should never bend it like Beckham, as David was diagnosed with damaging the “lateral internal ligament of his right leg” & will be undergoing further tests later this week to determine the extent of his injury.

“It looks serious but I do not want to say how bad until the doctors do the scan,” said Real Madrid Coach Fabio Capello.

Hmmm, maybe Capello is just a little vindictive since Beckham left Real Madrid before his contract was really over, I wonder if some accidentally may have placed that sign there for David to run in to, an maybe some Vaseline on the field to ensure that ole Beckham would never play soccer again.  Ahhh, conspiracy theories, don’t you love ‘em?

Well, it looks like the Los Angeles Galaxy may have just paid top dollar for a benchwarmer.  What do you think?

After David signed a five-year contract with the Los Angeles Galaxy soccer team, Victoria has been searching the L.A. area over for a suitable home for their family & it doesn’t look like Lionel Richie’s home was even close.
