Here’s perhaps one of the biggest surprises of this year – Courtney Love was sighted in New York and she looked, well, like one of us! We haven’t heard from/about her in a while, but by the looks of it, she is starting to get back in the groove. Whatchathink is going on?

Yeah, the wife of former Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain is still alive and kicking – quite energetically, if I may add. She, together with other former Nirvana members, are very upset about the fact that Kurt Cobain’s character in Guitar Hero 5 is unlockable. That means that once the character is unlocked, it can be used for any song in the game. According to Courtney, the agreement was that Cobain would appear in two songs, that’s it. Activision says the exact opposite.

Celebrity or not, AmEX expects its clients to pay the bill, and it seems that Ms. Courtney Love has been failing in that respect. According to the lawsuit filed against her, Love owes AmEx $350,000. Surely it’s loose change for someone of her stature? Maybe not.

Someone other than blondie Jessica Simpson is celebrating their birthday this week, Courtney Love rung in her 43rd birthday by apparently doing her best & scariest ’80s impression.

Love, who turned 43 on Monday, was spotted after her performance at London’s Bush Hall holding a bouquet given to her by an admiring fan. 

I’ve been watching Love for almost a decade now, and I think this might just be the worst picture of Courtney ever.  I mean, the bird-like nose looks like it’s going to turn into a beak any minute now & those teeth look like they could use a good soaking since they look like my grandmom’s dentures.

Really Court, you need some kind of fashion intervention & freeking fast at that!

Crazypants Courtney Love is finally going to auction off some of her late hubby’s personal effects.

42-year-old Love is holding at auction at Christie’s to sell off some of Kurt Cobain’s clothing, a guitar & some lyrics.  Love stated that living with them in her home “is like a mausoleum”.

Love reveals that much of the proceeds from the auction will go to charity, but thinks this is a good choice for her 15-year-old daughter Francis Bean.

“My daughter doesn’t need to inherit a giant … bag full of flannel … shirts. A sweater, a guitar and the lyrics to `(Smells Like) Teen Spirit’ — that’s what my daughter gets.”

Love goes on to reveal that she’s still just as crazy as ever, saying, ”I still wear (Kurt’s) pajamas to bed. How am I ever going to go form another relationship in my lifetime wearing Kurt’s pajamas?”

Well, you seemed to form a pretty good relationship with drugs there, Court.

Former Hole frontwoman Courtney Love was spotted at Maui’s Kea Lani Resort earlier this week showing off a very noticeable new figure.  Looks like Love could even compete in the boxing ring from the looks of it. 

42-year-old Love has apparently lost 45 pounds since December.  Wonder if this has anything to do with that nude photo shoot?

Anyhoo, the singer has been melting away by drinking the famed Isopure diet shakes for the past four months.  Love is also combining more fish, steamed veggies, waving off the carbs & doing loads of yoga.

“She’s feeling like a different person,” reveals an insider.

Apparently Courtney is planning on losing 55 pounds altogether.  Yeah, I guess these folks aren’t happy until they work off their breasts as well.
