Mary Travers of the trio Peter, Paul, and Mary has passed away at 72. The group is best known for hits such as Lemon Tree, Puff the Magic Dragon, and Leaving on a Jet Plane. They were also responsible for helping other major artists become popular, including Bob Dylan.

Bob Dylan Unrecognized By Police

Bob Dylan is on tour and while in New Jersey, decided to take a stroll. Residents of the low income neighborhood where he was roaming around and called the police. The young officer apprehended the rock icon, and didn’t have an inkling about who he was dealing with. Dylan had to take the officer back to the hotel where the rest of the musicians were staying and it was not till the staff vouched for him that he was let off the hook. Talk about going incognito. Witnesses say that Dylan couldn’t have been nicer about the whole thing.

Bob Dylan To Release Christmas Album

The iconic musician is not done yet. The news is that he will be releasing a Christmas album featuring classics such as “Here Comes Santa Claus” and the carol “O Little Town of Bethlehem.” It’s waters that he’s treading here, but I’ll buy a copy of the album just because it’s Bob Dylan making it.
